The pizza was good, the staff should work on cleanliness and basic hand washing or changing their gloves. Don’t make my pizza with the same gloves you changed the trash with. YUCK!!!The staff should do less talking and playing and spend more time actually making pizzas.

I used to live near the Zalat on Fitzhugh and I love the pizza. I’m a vegan and while Zalat doesn’t offer a meat alternative I love that they at least offer a vegan cheese. I recently moved to Richardson and I’m very glad that there’s a Zalat less than two miles from me. Unfortunately the 18” pizza I just had was not quite what I’m used to. $41 for a pizza that as you can see in the photo is missing some surface area. Now if it was Valentine’s Day than my heart shaped pizza might be ok but I don’t think I would have paid $41 for it. As far as the flavor goes I do have to say it’s one of the best pizzas in the DFW. Hopefully the person tossing the dough can get it down to perfect roundness. Or at least closer than my last pizza. One more thing I would love to see is maybe a build your own pizza. That tends to be why the pizza cost so much. I have to order a pizza and then add the toppings I want. I know they just opened so I’ll give them a couple more opportunities.

About last night... the perfect comfort food for a thunderstorm!! This was my first experience with Zalat & I overall gave it 5-stars!! I first tried to order online, but there was nowhere to build my own pizza so called to place my order. I spoke with Andrew who was extremely helpful & knowledgeable. I ordered the PhoShizzle, but made it my own [Housemade Ranch sauce versus the Marinara, Chicken, Mushrooms, Carmelized Onions, Red Bell Peppers, & all the regular cilantro and drizzle toppings that come on the PhoShizzle]. So, if you wish to build your own pizza you pretty much have to pick the pizza on the menu that's closest to what you want then change it around to your liking. This was soo good and fresh! The thin crust was baked perfectly! Once I got to the checkout counter I received the same phenomenal customer service [sorry - didn't catch his name] and the pizza was ready to go! I'll def be back!!! ??

Haven't tried the food yet, but will never be back to this location. Person working the register was too busy playing on his phone. I had to try to get his attention a few times standing right in front of him to pick up my food. Then he tells me it will be 10 to 15 minutes so I check back in 10 minutes and he turns around and says oh yeah the pizza is ready. Hands me the pizza and gets back on his phone. That was not all of my order I had to ask him where is the salad. Is this someone you really want representing your business? Time and date for reference: 5/15 at 11:30ish.

Just ordered two 18” Buffalo Chicken, Margherita pizza. As always, it’s goooooood. This is also our to go place for Pizza, when it was in downtown Plano. You can’t go wrong with this place. Customer service is awesome.

OK, I’m back! So, after six months of eating pizza all over Richardson and some places in Plano, the pizza I have chosen, in my opinion, the “BEST PIZZA IN RICHARDSON “ is Zalat Pizzas at City Line. This pizza is super delicious! I have worked for pizza places my entire life and eaten my fair share of pizza. There are several factors that play into my choice. First is food quality. This pizza has top-notch ingredients and cooked to perfection! They still manage to get the pizza done on time, and they are perfect, despite the high volume of teenagers hanging out and delivery drivers constantly in and out. The manager, BJ, is dealing with a lot of factors like that it is hard to find good help and Covid to name just a few. The pizza business itself has changed, but this place and the management are running like a well-oiled machine, in spite of how busy they can get at times. I also ask other customers what they think when I go into any pizza place. The last factor is the price. It is not cheap, but it’s not over-priced either. There is an old saying - you get what you pay for! Pizza is no exception. So, after careful consideration and a lot of pizza ? “ZALAT PIZZA RICHARDSON “ is the #1 PIZZA IN RICHARDSON, in my humble opinion. Please go try ZALAT. Tell BJ that Gene sent you and see what happens. Thanks for your interest in my reviews. Sincerely,Gene Champagne get the 18” don’t mess around

Poor service, organization. Ordered for online pick up. System said 15-20 min. I drove to the location after 20 min. Arrived and pizza was not ready, waited. After an additional 45 min at location, turns out they gave out my pizza out with a bigger order and no one informed me. They had to re-make it and offered no apologies or no refund, or nothing.Worst pizza location i haver ever visited. Will not be coming back here.

Customer service for me is everything. The guy who took my order did not follow through with the correct order. We ordered 8 large pizza at pick up time only 6 pizza were ready…. I asked him where are my other pizzas and he looked very dumb founded. Long story short customer service suck but the pizza and sauce was delicious ?…the company need to invest in customer service training..I will post the pizza at a later time…

Pizza is delicious, but the past few experiences with ordering for pick-up has got me not wanting to ever go back. It might be more of an issue with the way ubereats works, but I've never had this type of problem ordering ahead elsewhere. Most recently I placed my order in the early AM, since it was a large order of 7 pizzas for pick-up 6:45-7:15pm that evening. The order status showed ready at 7, so we got there 7:05. Order wasn't actually ready until 7:40. If it was a one time fluke, I'd understand, but this was the 3rd time, same scenario using ubereats. Something needs to be fixed.

The pizza was amazing and very tasty that's why I'm giving them 2 stars and not 1. I will give them that credit. But I'm mad that I placed a "Future Order" online for my pizza to be ready at 8:30pm because I was still at work and I don't get home until 8:30. But I got a text message as I was leaving working that my pizza was ready at 8:03pm so of course it was cold by the time I picked it up. What's the point of having the option of a future order if you're still gonna cook it when you want to. The place was not crowded at all so that's no excuse. I will definitely eat there again but I won't be doing the future order thing again until they fix that.
