My husband and I have been looking for a tofu place since his favorite one shut down years ago.Everything was delicious and the service was prompt. They give you a decent amount of sides also. Food is reasonably priced with a great portion and the restaurant is clean including the bathrooms. Our waitress was nice and even cleaned off a table for us to move since it was a bit hot outside and the only other open one was by the doorway.No complaints here! If you love tofu soup, this is a most definite come to!
Can I just say, Oh No! I’ve been excited to try this place for a while now…There will not be a return trip…4 different waitresses/waiters brought food to our table and many more issues… It says it is fresh, it’s not. The waitress even told us the rolls and dumplings are made off site, and they had no veggie options of those so I could not try them anyway. We got a potato pancake… Extremely greasy & rubber like… I did try it, but it is a hard pass for me… way to slimy… Every waitress that came to the table was told I do not eat meat… I confirmed my order would not have meat in it… when it came I began eating and then realized it has MEAT in it!! I called the waitress over and told her… her response was no care at all and then begins to tell me that the glass noodles that they bring out to put in the bowls also have meat!!! Then they brought the check and the food was still on there. I advised I was not paying for my dish and I would be happy to talk to the manager to explain why… they took it off the check and did not have me talk to anyone… There’s zero communication here and no care at all from the staff as to what they are serving. I even asked one person what was in a bowl as a side item and I was told that they did not know ?♀️ Will not be returning… I’m very disappointed…
The wings are to die for! I had the LA KALBI with Seafood Soft Tofu soup and Soy Garlic Wings. I will come back for sure!
Great spicy soft tofu! Wife was craving spicy soft tofu and this place hit the spot. I had the LA galbi which was very good as well. She's ready to come back for more already.
At first look at the menu I thought the meal would be overpriced. After tasting the food my mind completely changed. The food was extremely flavorful. I had the seafood tofu soup with pork belly. The soup was a bit on the spicy side but very good with plenty of seafood and tofu filling the bowl. The pork was also tasty especially when dipped in the provided sauce. All the sides were high quality as well. The service was a bit slow but I think they were understaffed the night we came so I can't complain.
Very negative experience. I’ve been a big fan of Richardson Chinatown for years but I will never visit this restaurant again. 1. Service was bad and slow. 2. Mold on the chopsticks. 3. Rice tasted like cheap grain. There were food residues in the rice.
Best tofu and Korean style bbq places! Also their kimchi pancake and seafood pancakes are amazing
This place is BOOOMB! Great food and friendly/welcoming staff:) The soft tofu soup is so worth the 2 hour drive ʕっ˘ڡ˘ςʔ
Friendly service and awesome tasting food!! Love that their barely tea comes out in a tea pot to share at the table and EACH rice bowl is its individual hot pot.
Hello friends! Welcome once again to a delicious review. Tofu factory located in Richardson Tx is a planee place for me. I have added the menu for quick reference. Today we experienced something spicy Pork Soft Tofu they serve it on a HOT stone spot and they add another pot with rice equally hot. For those who don’t like egg make sure you ask the to not add it to the soup that way is optional if you change your mind. The flavor of the Pork meat in the soup after adding the rice is not dominant but it makes a perfect blend of flavors of scorching hot rice, pork, garlic tofu equally hot. It is so tasty and good. If you have preference for beef you can ask for the same soup only with beef. Levels of spicy ese are from 0 thru 4, 4 being most spiciest. I # 4 and sweat like crazy but my mouth was not burning it was just perfect. I definitely will come back. Hope you enjoy this place too.
