I was recently was turned on to Italian beef sandwiches from my boss who is from the Chicago area. Look if your in Texas and never tried one it will be life changing. So far I’ve had a few different places this is hands down the best one and the best price I’ve paid for one. This guy has it figured out.
OMG!!!! Absolutely delicious. I've only been twice and tried the classic chili dog and pulled pork. I've been to dozens of bbq places and have eaten alot of pulled pork sandwiches. These are the best I've ever eaten. They are huge too. I made 2 meals off of it. I just scraped the meat outta bun and put on another bun and it was just as good as the day before. The service is excellent. Guys super friendly also. Well definitely be going often.

His chicken speedies are good but are NOT the Binghamton chicken speedie, but for Texas good enough.The venue that we went to was not where Google maps indicated but in the alley behind. Lots of families along with their dogs hanging out and having a relaxed time. Definitely a great place when the temperature is below 100° since it's outside.

Absolutely the best Italian beef sandwich in the metro. Believe me because I’ve looked. TJs is best I’ve found.
Every so often I get a hankering for a decent hot dog. Sonic is ok and Costco’s $1.50 offering is certainly priced right. But if you want to do it right, TJ’s is the place to go.
I'm not really a hot dog lover, but I've passed by him literally the last decade and today I was like, WTHeck! YOLO, right?! ??♀️ Lol! I got The West Virginia Slaw Dog. Surprisingly ate the whole thing!!! It was very flavorful and delish. I tried some of that "forest green color relish" and it was also yummy! His food truck is very unique and kept clean!!!! I sat in the parking lot to eat and once the customers left he came out to sanitize all stations and touch points! Gave this germaphobe chills! Phenomenal customer service & decent prices!!!! He's located in the Lowe's parking lot in Richardson.
Awesome place. TJ is a great stand alone guy! And his dogs are to die for❣️ paired with a four bullets boxcar Porter. Man, Heaven in Richardson.
Hard to find a great consistent dog and for less than $$ but you'll find it here. Tried the regular dog and Italian beef and both got 5 stars. Dog had good bite and fresh beef dog flavor. Italian was as messy as it was good!The owner started the experience off on a high note with a pleasant welcome and answers to any questions. Really thought provoking options but we left knowing we would be back to try something different. Great one-man shop - makes you feel good to support a small business.Check it out, you won't be sorry.
New to the area and have been wanting to check this place out and so I did. I even brought my nephew who was in town. We are both true Chicagoans and love our city. This place passed the test!
