This Has to be absolutely one of the worst customer service ever experienced at a restaurant… if you’ve got an hour to sit there great I was the first person in line today to place an order it took them 35 minutes to give me my order I felt sorry for all the cars behind me…. As I was sitting in the drive-through you could see three people walking back-and-forth through the window doing absolutely nothing…

The worst experience ever. Drive thru took 30 minutes and the staff was so rude! We sat in front of the window to pay for 15 minutes before someone came over and we almost just drove off and went to jimmy John’s instead and now I’m really wishing we would have just done that instead. The lady that handed us our food didn’t say a word and gave us such a rude look I almost thought she spit in our food. Go anywhere else for a sandwich but here, it will be faster and probably taste better too.

Shame on me for continuing to visit this place. They have never made a my order of mine — or my friends’ or family’s orders — right. Fool me once, shame on you; fool me twice, shame on me. Well, this place should shut down for good. Horrible staff. Long lines, apathetic workers, sloppy sandwiches, and it’s mind-bending because the sandwich options are numbered and have simple ingredients. So, one would think messing up a sandwich is next to impossible. Yet, messing up sandwich orders is the only thing they have gotten right.

Great Outdoors has the best traditional subs. Unfortunately the one by us closed so we have to drive a bit to get here but it's definitely worth it. Love the Outdoorsman sub with the works. Place was crazy busy on our visit but was moving pretty quick with friendly staff.

This was my first experience with the Great Outdoors. I was slightly nervous as to whether or not I'd enjoy the food at first. I was really impressed. The service and friendlyness of all the employees was too noth and outstanding..The food was just as good. My other general go to sub shop is firehouse. It was easily comparable. The prices were great. The only complaint was the sandwich was too small for me personally. I could have easily eaten two. One was more than enough for my wife.I will definitely be back and I look forward to that next visit.Awesome job guy!

Hands down the rudest employee I’ve ever encountered. I’m done with this shop. Sunday December 26th at 3:20pm- Whoever you have working the window needs to find another line a work. Your food is good but the drive through service is abysmal at best.

Saddest veggie sub ever! I ordered a #19 that was basically a piece of bread for $10. If you want to sell a veggie sub , please put vegetables on it. And, it took 20 minutes to receive said piece of bread. I’m sure you can do better. Thank you for starting to put vegetables on veggie subs.

Loved the roast beef sandwich with avocado. Also loved the black and white malt. There may have been only one other person eating inside. Lots of pickups.

Based on my experience today at Great Outdoors in Richardson off Campbell road, I will not be returning. The drive thru lady has a BAD attitude. Her tone and expression is demanding and rude and feels somewhat hostile through the intercom, I’ve had a couple of bad experiences with her before and this one was so bad I felt the need to write a review after reporting her previously. When I pulled up to the drive thru window, I could see her taking orders over the headset, she would mute herself, make fun of the customer and laugh with the rest of the employees. She was even making fun of my order and how I ordered the works without tomatoes to her colleagues while I was waiting on my food at the window, this really made me feel unwelcome and uncomfortable! If I order ‘the works’, it means I want everything on it so I don’t have to say every little thing I want on my sandwich and then I say no tomatoes because it’s one item I don’t want on, I was just trying to make your job easier but I guess it’s all about being rude and making fun of the customer while muting your headset and laughing with your colleagues. My order was wrong too, I wanted two kids meals and I only received one, I also ordered 4 chips and received 2. The food is great it’s just that you have someone who is very rude and makes fun of customers behind their back/in front of their face that makes me never want to come back to this location. She probably would have gotten my order right if she wasn’t muting herself and making fun of people to her colleagues.

Good value, fresh ingredients. Took a minute to understand the giant menu on the first visit. Lots of seating.
