The competition is tough around here but I experienced excellent food prep, service, cleanliness. Nice smoky, moist brisket with good crust. Baby back ribs are delicious. My sides -- Italian green beans good flavor, and "baked beans" must be a Texas style as they have a vinegar taste. Not my preference as I was expecting more of a sweet base like Boston baked beans. Next time I'll go for the ranch beans that I normally get. Nice big surprise was complimentary large dip real vanilla ice cream. They comped my cup of coffee. The Richardson restaurant excels in customer service.

Money hungry!!First of all, the food is great. They also bring you rolls and ice cream to your table. But man, do you pay for it. Overpriced everything. Every meal is over $10 and all drinks are $3.I’m very suspicious because the same overcharge has happened at two locations with different employees at least 3 times now. Leads me to think they are purposefully trained to charge you more on purpose. They will charge you a brisket plate when you got a chopped baker which is a five dollar difference. I asked an employee while I was eating if I could be reimbursed, and she directed me to the manager. The manager didn’t say much, just that I could get up and go do it myself at the counter. Very disappointed in the customer service. The bathrooms were dirty. Toilet paper all over the floor and stuck to my shoes. So I went up to the counter. As the manager, if a customer was overcharged, go handle it for them. And take that item off completely as a way of apology. I was charged for the original meal instead. I would recommend just taking the price off and apologizing. This would be much better customer service.

Oh my goodness. This place is my newest obsession. Barbeque can be so expensive these days and most places I always feel like I'm being ripped off. That is definitely not the case with this place! The prices are super reasonable for the amount of food and the quality of the food. Personally, I loved the brisket sandwich plate. One thing that really sets this place apart is that they bring around fresh rolls - straight out of the oven. You also get free bluebell ice cream too!

Dined here on a Sunday Family day, We walked in and went directly to order, we stood there for about five minutes till I had to ask “Where do we order” must I add there was no one in front of us! Nobody behind the counter was even trying to look at us even after having seven employees right in front of us not one of them stated that they would be right with us. One employee answered me and stated “You order here” without the “We will be right with you. So finally after we asked where do we order about another 3 minutes pass & the gentleman stands right in front of us just looking at us with a no expression on his face so I went ahead and said “Oh you’re ready” and he nodded his head only. So then I started to order, throughout the whole time in line from getting our trays to paying there were no smiles & absolutely no Customer Service at all, as a matter fact we felt so not wanted and out of place. The only reason that we didn’t walk out was because we had just came from an outside event and I had gotten sick from the heat and I needed to eat and cool off for a bit before we went home! Which was 45 minutes away and could have gone in our town to eat. But we chose this place. While ordering I asked for some butter in a little cup because I love butter and the lady told me there’s some already in the little packages but I continued to tell her that I wanted a little bit more in a cup she threw it in a little cup and handed it over to me and turned her face while handing it over because obviously that bothered her. Every single one of those employees were not happy at all that we were ordering. The cashier was better and he told us to enjoy our meal and then the lady at the homemade roll area was the sweetest ever that came to offer us fresh bread, Must I add they were so delicious. She did touched her hair like she was more like running her hands on her hair. and with her glove then continued to touch the bread ingredients so after that we didn’t get any bread but she was the best smiling employee there! The food was a little cold but maybe it was because we were deciding on the sides. My husband said the ribs were very salty I on the other hand well I love salty food so I couldn’t tell you but overall everything that we ordered was delicious other than the brisket been dry and almost no flavor, from our experience I would not recommend this restaurant mainly because of the way we were treated!

It wasn't bad nor was it good. I expected better. I hear all the time about how great Texas BBQ is, what happened? Small portions, I guess that's how they roll in Texas. Everything is big except the portions. Awesome rolls, hot fresh. Yummy! There were more senior citizens in there. Maybe that's their focus.?

I ordered the 3-meat combination for $20.85 on Doordash. I chose St. Louis ribs, Carolina Style Pulled pork, chopped brisket, with fries and rolls. Each roll on Doordash will cost you 40 cents extra. Let's start with negatives of the meal and then move to positives of the meal. The ribs were tasteless and had no detectable seasoning. The Carolina Style pulled pork had a weird taste to it, because of the sauce on it but no real seasoning or flavor. I wish the sauce was on the side so I could decide whether to use it or not. The meat portions were ridiculously small for the price. The chopped brisket had barbecue sauce on it, already I believe, and it was okay tasting. I have definitely eaten better, succelent brisket. I wish they hadn't put sauce on the brisket either. The fries were small but delicious and the rolls were delicious as well. Unfortunately, the rolls didn't come with butter, which I believe they should have. Overall, meat wise I would steer clear of here unless you have no other choice, but the fries were good albeit small and the bread rolls on Doordash are 40 cents per roll and good. Which for the rolls the price could be a lot worse!!

The consistency is great. I am a native Texan and live their Baby back ribs, turkey, chicken and brisket. The hot yeast rolls melt in your mouth. We go at least once a month. Unpretentious, family atmosphere with great sides, great value.

4-5 stars because, the food was great, and servers were extremely kind and patient. But, the rolls were a little bit burnt.

My sister that lives out of state met me at this Richardson location last night for dinner. Any time she comes to the DFW area, Spring Creek is one place she always wants to go! We were met at the meat counter by the manager. I'm sorry I did not catch his name but he left such a great impression on us. So very personable and friendly. This job fits him so well with his interactive skills and I'm sure the younger workers are learning some great life skills from him.We asked him to take a few sister photos which he was kind to do. In today's world where people tend to not reach out to others, he made us feel so welcome and comfortable. Thanks again for a lovely evening!

Everyone who works there is very, very nice. The barbeque is top shelf. They use really good seasoning on their meats. Their side dishes are big portions and taste wonderful.
