Great food and service. The fettuccine is very flavorful.
The Mozzarella and Ricotta calonze was absolutely amazing. It wasn't heavy or oily in the slightest, in fact in its entirety was light and airy. The cheese itself was good sublime and melts in your mouth with just the perfect level of seasoning. The marinara sauce had just the hint of sweetness to balance out the acidity in the tomato which left a very refreshing dipping sauce. This little gem is definitely a must and I look forward to sampling other things from them.
This place has a funny ? smell. The one thing about Porta Di Roma is the food is horrible at all the location…soooo…at least there consistent. The only reason I have gone twice is they are in a very convenient location, late night hours, they sell pizza by the slice and they have a live band on Friday. But definitely don’t go there for good food or drinks. Go here if it’s late and you have the munchies!
Food was delicious, sadly the staff person who had our table was not only incredibly rude, but also was very slow in helping us out. The check also had a mandatory 18% tip. We were only a party of six. Honestly, I would have loved to give a better review, but when my mom left a complaint on the receipt, the waiter grabbed it, stood up in my mom’s face and started reading it. She was trying to leave a complaint in a very polite way by just writing it down in a piece of paper, Instead of making a scene. He was the one who started making a scene. We just left quietly. My sister also called the restaurant and the manager said: I dont have time for this. I hope the restaurant actually takes this as feedback for training and customer service.
Pretty terrible service. Our waiter placed the cheese shaker ON TOP of my pizza when he brought our order to the table. When he put the pizza down, he took the shaker off of the pizza and placed it on the table, with cheese attached. Gross. I’m sure those shakers NEVER get cleaned. They definitely don’t belong sitting on top of my pizza !!I didn’t eat it :-(
Waitress was, literally, wearing slippers. ??Maybe some sort of dress code would elevate this place? Food was cold when it finally arrived. Weak cocktail service. Sad that it wasn't a better experience....location is great.
Great food and excellent service! I ordered Pollo alla parmigiana. It was amazing and I could make a meal out of the bread alone! Yum!
The wait staff leaves something to be desired, I had to ask for more water.. I had the chicken picatta, but lacked flavor, some more lemon and a little salt would help.The stuffed mushrooms were supposed to come with a spicy marinara sauce, but it wasn't spicy in the least. So sad because this place could make out like bandits with the hotel and surrounding work places.
Went here since we were staying at the renaissance hotel. We were seated, given water, then not serviced again. Two families who arrived after we did were served bread, and even ordering food, while we still waited. Realizing we weren't in store for a decent experience, we left without even a bite. They missed out on at least $120 plus tip.
Staying near this location and wanted a nice meal. Couldn’t be more happy with this authentic Italian with reasonably prices! The service was amazing! Enjoy the experience with this little gem! We came back the next day for more lasagne and Tiramisu!
