First time here at Piada and will be my last!So I ordered 2 to go items: chicken carbanara and a protein bowl. Which I was highly looking forward to after a long day. Upon arriving home and opening the meal I gazed upon what I thought was some other meat in my food but quickly realized it was what was supposed to be grilled chicken that was really charred.I decided to return for an opportunity to clear up the food items, and upon returning the manager on duty asked me “what’s wrong with this item?” I informed them this is not acceptable and they informed me “this is how our chicken comes.” Very upsetting I left and got chick fila.Terrible service overall is what appalled me. After a long day and looking forward to a good meal, I felt let down by this restaurant.
Liked it. It was newly cooked in front of my eyes. Fresh, yummy, fast, cheap, cozy. Carbonara was good. Tnx, guys.
For myriad reasons, I ended up going here two nights in a row. The first night I went, the serving sizes were so small. I wondered why the regular bowl was so large because it wasn't even filled halfway. I was hungry after eating my portion. The following night I went back and ordered the same thing. The serving portion filled the bowl and I could have ordered a small instead of regular. I had leftovers after filling myself. The food quality is OK. The varied portion size for the price is the reason I likely will not return.
Food always tastes good. However, the last three times I have been the wait has been very long. They are just understaffed it seems. I would advise against ordering “curbside delivery” on the website. I arrived when the email said my food would be ready and clicked the prompt in my email to let them know I had arrived. I waited in my car for a good 15 minutes, and eventually had to call them, and it seemed like they weren’t even aware of my order. When I went yesterday they only had 3 people working and it took 45 minutes to get through the line. They only had one person assembling food and she was doing a great job, but they are just short staffed and the food isn’t really worth the wait and the price.
Ordered the Carbonara bowl with hot spicy chicken (large bowl). This place was suggested to me by my wife. You order at the counter, like at a sandwich shop. It was served quickly and hot. It was really good. The chicken was very spicy. I would not order it if you don't like a lot of heat. I was really surprised on how good it was. I will definitely be back.
Won’t be back. The food here caused my tooth to chip off while eating, and now I have a migraine from the pain. (Looks like the same thing happened to another customer’s wife too). Never has this happened to me. The Parmesan piada stick was hard and cold. Packaging was such that the ends weren’t even covered. The carbonara pasta with hot fried chicken was not packed properly. The lid was off. The chicken tasted good but the rest of the dish was okay. Nothing special. The cannoli chips were the best part of my order. This was not a delivery order - I picked up my own order from the counter.
Uncooked quinoa extremely hard in the power bowl. Caused my wife to chip her tooth, this happened as I was on the phone with the restaurant explaining how the quinoa was uncooked and how I found a small hair in my food.I’m looking forward to hearing from the business to resolve the expenses.
In town for volleyball tournament, got in late and decided to DoorDash! One thing was left off our order (user error), but Chef Diego made it right! The service was above and beyond, and the food was amazing!!!!!
Why is an option for Curbside pickup given on the website when it's actually not there? My wife waited in the car for 20 mins. She had to take our 1-year-old out of the car seat and when asked why there was no curb pickup they just said they didn't know it was an option. We were looking for curbside pickup options because the baby goes fussy when taken off the car seat and put in the back multiple times. If the employees don't even know it's an option then it's best to remove it from the website than mislead customers who order from there.
The food was good and the staff was very friendly and helpful.
