Pho was great. But the fresh spring roll was awful. The rice paper was very rubbery. Harder than my car’s tires.
This is a solid pho joint, not the best thing ever, but it was pretty authentic, and good flavor. I really enjoyed the hot and spicy beef and pork, it was as good as anywhere I have had it. The filet mignon pho was a hit with my daughter and 4 of her friends, the pho tay do seafood pho was satisfactory to my wife. The rocket shrimp appetizer was, passable, but the wrappers were a little gummy. It's got some potential, but after only one visit I can't give it more than 4 stars and a silver platypus.
A gem the entire family enjoyed. I personally respected the subtle flavors in the beef pho bowls. Not overly fancy and thus very approachable if you're new to this restaurant. They met if not exceeded my expectations.
Absolutely TERRIBLE service and would NEVER recommend anyone to come here. Decided to give them another chance today and was ignored again for a larger party. We arrived first and to seat the party of 8 behind us, we were seated at a DIRTY table while they finished cleaning larger tables for the party. Then their orders were taken while we were left at a dirty table ignored. Tried to get their attention and they told us to wait. Only to see them cleaning another table to seat a party of 4.I used to enjoy coming here but ever since they changed ownership it’s been downhill. Lot of other options where you’ll be a valued customer.
My husband and I love this restaurant. Servers are always so nice to the customers and food is great, especially egg rolls are the best! One improvement will be the consistency on pho soup tho. Sometimes is really flavorful but sometimes it’s kinda light and weak. Overall, I recommend this restaurant if you look for an authentic Vietnamese food in DFW. (Yesterday I got the grilled pork plate with two servings of egg rolls!)
One of the best Vietnamese in Richardson/Garland area so far. I'm a Vietnamese American from Houston if that tells you anything.
Best Pho and Spring rolls around.
Probably the best bun ho Hue I have known in DFW. Their small bowl is huge. Lots of meat, the broth is flavorful and tasty. Just a little disappointment that they do not have pork blood, which is my favorite. A great place to grab bun bo Hue, especially when it is freezing outside.
This use to be the place for very authentic bahn bo huey...but we went last week..it was a great disappointment..the soup base is very weak and not spicey at all... This dish use to cone with pigs blood but now they took it out..m no more.. i am now looking for an alternative place to have desent authentic bahn bo huey.
Came in for their Bún Bò Huế with a high expectations. It was ok, not great. I wish their soup have deeper flavor, it was too plain for me.
