My wife and I absolutely love this restaurant. The food was so good. My wife had 3 fried catfish filets and a fried soft shell crab. I had the Mississippi Opelousas! It was Fire!!!
Saturday night, 9:14pm. “Maps”, TripAdvisor, and the website all say that Pappadeaux is open until 10pm on Saturdays. Wrong. We were told in an extremely dismissive way, at 9:14pm, that they were no longer seating anymore tables. Truly disappointing — and rude. Fortunately, the next door Pappasito’s menu has some seafood items. Pappasito’s also closes at 10pm; they sat us at 9:31pm.
I really wish that I had the names of the two servers that waited on us. They were so kind and welcoming. And the restaurant is cute and has a great atmosphere. I'm not much for calamari but we ordered it this time for a change. The batter was delicious. We ended up eating the whole plate. Unfortunately we ate our main courses before I could take pictures. ? My husband had some kind of grilled tilapia with lump crab. ? I had catfish. Although I really enjoyed my catfish his tilapia was delicious. We had a really good time at this restaurant.Great first impressions!!!
Lovely lunch to indulge this wonderful seafood cuisine. Focusing on Cajun style with the spices that is lovely blended into the food. Ordered the Cajun style blackened fish that I enjoyed it so much ! It comes with shrimp that blend well with the dirty rice ! Kind of heavy for lunch but I enjoyed it .. the fried alligator skin not tasted the crispy skin but rather the meat tasted like fried chicken ! Dipping with the special sauce good to pair with beer .. unfortunately! Lovely lunch and hopper o come back to try other food ..

This place was absolutely beautiful, and the food was amazing and perfectly prepared. Our waiter Solomon was the sweetest, most professional young King! The alligator was incredible! first time trying it and I will eat it again. I will eat here everytime I come to Texas for sure.
We celebrated my 14 year old granddaughter’s birthday today! Great service and festive atmosphere.
This was Mother's Day. The staff were sooo accommodating. Jason made sure that we stayed hydrated and cool. When we got to our table, Arismel and Jason too great care of us! This has now become my favorite Pappadeux!
This location exceeded our expectations from service, price, to food quality. The service was exceptional. By far the best service we’ve had! All credit goes to our server, Cristi. She was welcoming, conversational, and consistent. Chef Daniel also was an added bonus, came out and introduced himself. Super inviting atmosphere. Highly recommend Pappadeaux Richardson, TX
My absolute favorite place to eat. Never in the hundreds of visits, through the years, have I been disappointed. I have literally had everything on the menu, totally an excellent, and classy place, but come as you are, it’s Cajun.For my wife and I here is what we look forward to:Starters:The fresh bread and soft yummy butterAppetizers: (yes you need the plural)Boudin with dirty riceShrimp and crawfish FondueMain course:My favorite is Costa Rican Mahi in Alexander sauce with yes, more dirty rice.My wife’s favorite depends on here mood, lol.All things lobster or the Pasta with scallops, lump crab, and shrimpDessert:Wife: Banana puddingMe: Key Lime pieNow, we have plenty of left overs for lunch the next day, possibly lunch and dinner.The service is spot on every time and very professional.Stop searching on Google, you have found the best place to eat.
