Very good - not Americanized Chinese foodYou know it’s good when the place is packed with Asian folk and you’re the only white person there.Hot and sour soup is packed with vegetables, great mushroom base (for the review below about it not being yellow/the yellow is an additive/hot and sour is mushroom base with cornstarch. this place doesn’t use color additives except possibly sweet and sour sauce)Mandarin beef is definitely goodNot really saltyJust a great tasteMy friend from mainland China used to fix dishes for me.. very similarIt’s just not Americanized like peiwei or whateverThumbs up
The rib meat and beef stick are completely dry and are barely edible as if they have been made weeks ago and reheated. The crab rangoons are also very stale as if they have been refried after being cooked weeks ago. The chicken is overcooked and smells raw. This is not fresh food whatsoever...how can they serve this to people? Very disgusting! This is the WORST order I have received in all my life. BEWARE!!!
The food was really awful, I was very disappointed to have wasted money on it. The fried rice tasted old and very burnt. The lo mein had no flavor at all and the seaseme chicken was soggy. I would recommend they do something about their chef.
I've been going here for 20 years. The food has been incredibly consistent over all those years.
Always a favorite when we find ourselves near. Been eating at Oriental Express for over 21 years, and still pleased to see the same man cooking up simple delicious food for us when we make our way to Richardson.
Being a fan of the food served here for quite sometime. Because of COVID-19 however we choose take out now but used to always dine in.
This is my first review ever, but the food was just so bad that I had to write one. I ordered delivery and I got the sesame chicken (with lo mein as my side instead of rice) and the egg drop soup. The egg drop soup was more white than the typical yellowish color, it had peas and carrots and some weird long clear somethings in it? I have no idea what that was. They forgot to put the crispy won ton strips in the bag for the soup. The soup did not have any taste to it at all, it was just warm - so at least there was that. The lo mein was super dry and super bland. And lastly, the sesame chicken was also so very bland. It did have a sweetness to it, which was okay, but the breading was mushy and the chicken was rubbery. I doused everything in soy sauce to try and save it, but it didn't do the trick. I have to be honest, this was the worst Chinese food I've ever had. However, my roommate had the Kung Pao chicken and that was okay. SO maybe it was the items I ordered, but the items I ordered are very standard, so I'm gonna have to say it's a "no" for me.
Will never go back. Not friendly at all the lady who was there. Very mean when I asked for napkins..
Awesome sweet and sour chicken. Lo Mein, fried rice and the BEST egg rolls ever. (: Have been going here for almost a decade with the family and the food and service never disappoint.
Great food! Been coming here for more than 20 years.
