Visited this restaurant for the first time and was very impressed with the food and service.I was very pleased with the Tacos Habana I ordered as well as the chips and salsa served while waiting for my meal.Looking forward to trying more dishes here.
Service is outstanding, even during lunch rush. Rico's salad and the taco salad with house jalapeno blue cheese dressing are some of my favorite regular lunch choices. There is also an excellent selection of creative enchilada dishes that never disappoint. I enjoy all of the different Mi Cocina locations around DFW, but this location is one of the best.
I was invited for Brunch and I had The Brisket Tacos. The Brisket was good, but the Corn Tortillas used are not MY fave. I didn't like the taste they had and when I bit into the Taco, The tortilla was Chewy, Tough and cold. I will try the Brisket Tacos again and request it on a Flour Tortilla. My GodSister had The Botana Platter, which was good. She had a Taxi Mambo, which looked delicious and by the looks of her Empty glass, I bet it was. I just drank my fave,(Mexican Coke). The Staff and Atmosphere was all nice. I will go back.
My Aunt and I Dined here last night .And the experience was horrible. We were treated like we weren't welcome. We sat at the Bar due to it being told it would be a 45 min to a Hour Wait. Once at the Bar no one came and greeted us. After waiting I excused myself to the restroom and came back and we finally had Chips and Salsa. The Chip we received were cold so I asked for sum Warm Ones. While sitting we asked if we could be moved to a Table..that never happen. So we finally get to order. I ordered the Mama Tacos and They we're so Cold. My rice was also cold. At this we wer'e both over it. I don't think I'll be visiting this Location ever again. We used our Hard Earned Money and got Poor Service and Mediocre Food. I'm currently on the line now trying to speak to a Manager but whoever answered keeps pressing the Hold Button. I Swear I don't know what happen to Great Customer Service And Delicious Food. But I Will Say the Drinks Are Ok.
First time coming to this location and I must say it was a great experience. The waiter was very attentive and the food was great. Will be coming back soon.
Food was ok, horrible service, plus I was charged twice. I and up paying more than $200 for two order. When I checked my bank account I was charged at first for my order plus$94 more then when I checked againg they removed the $94 and charged me $164 without my authorization. We had a big party that day but, that's not a reason for changing me more. The waiter was complaining all the time that we were to many people, and he confused all of the payments. Manager haven't resolved my problem. They keep charging me without my authorization. Check your bank account before leaving the restaurant.
Queso recipe must have changed. It was watery and flavorless. We didn’t even finish the queso it was so bad. Onions in fajitas were barely cooked. Submitted 2 complaints online through the website and never heard back.
We love all Mi Cocina’s, but this one is SPECIAL! We love to eat & then Shop! The food is EXCELLENT & the service is always on point! They have the BEST Chips & Salsa in all of Texas & the USA!
Our server was very nice, but the food is bland. Their burrito is the size of a Taco Bell soft taco and with half the flavor. Ver expensive for bland food. Didn’t have coffee or a dessert that was suggested to us. All in all it wasn’t awful, but not worth the prices.
This is the Mi Cocina I grew up going to. I am sad to report that it has gone downhill. I witnessed staff tell someone with a certified service dog that they had to sit outside on the patio. Thank goodness other patrons intervened and helped to correct the situation.The portions at this location are consistently smaller than the other 3 locations that my family frequents. I stopped ordering from this location and will go to further ones for correct orders, better service, accurate wait times, curbside options- which parking is not an issue at this location, so there is no excuse to not follow the protocol that remains on their website- and much larger portion sizes.
