Bar far the worst Indian restaurant in Dallas, with very rude staff. The dishes have Indian names, but taste nothing like Indian food. The food has no taste, and certainly no 'Masala' after whichthe restaurant is named. Over-oily, bland, and not tasty is the perfect description for the food you get here. Never tried the 'Asian' food there, so won't comment on it.The staff are rude. They are mostly International students hired from the nearby university. They don't care about the people who go there and act as if they are doing a favor by taking the order. If you are looking at Indian food, save your time and money. Avoid this place.
Went for a dinner with 8 people. On our way out, the waiter said “throw away your trash”. We did but which restaurant stops people as they are leaving and tells them to throw away the trash? What are the employees doing? Completely garbage service by one employee. The other employee with longer hair was good though. Food is decent.
Should’ve taken all the 1 star reviews seriously here. This masala wok is a knock off of all the other locations in the dfw metroplex. The quality of the food is very bad. ? the rice was stale, chicken tasted old, the spicy pepper chicken looked like it was popped out of the freezer and cooked. Please don’t spend your money here, we threw away all the food and left. Unfortunately, the worst location of all the masala woks. Management - please fix up the quality of the food here! ?? The staff was okay, just confused. The AC wasn’t working and the location could be a little cleaner.
Worst Masala/Food ever tasted in my entire life. Not trying to exaggerate, but it tastes like medicine and every time I felt like throwing up while eating. My girl and I didn't even finish the whole plate, we had to throw it away. I was craving Masala/Indian food. I regularly go to Mumtaz which serves buffet in Richardson or Roti Grill by downtown which serves the best Masala. Not only that, but I wanted to try a new place, but I regret it. Would not recommend at all.
We are long time customers of the Masala Wok brand and we were disappointed by our service today. We ordered basil fried rice and was told that it does not have basil but basil sauce. The wool cannot be pulled over our eyes as we know what to expect as this is not the first time we've ordered this. We tried to call and get reimbursed only for the one order as everything else was just OK. The prices have increased since the pandemic as we understand this, but the customer service should match. The chef forgot to put in the basil and unfortunately we are too far away to drive back. Tried to call and the girl who answered said she would call us back. Still waiting...
it was open i was hungry so i stopped. interesting textures of the food. served already in take out container so it was easy to put a top on and go. the food is just ok.
I visited Masala Wok today and the food was okay. Spring roll was good but Paneer 65 was horrible.
Southern curry with chicken was really good. Not too spicy but with just enough pizazz. Young lady that took my order last might was great. She gets 5 stars.Only negative was the time it took. It was really slow last night, but it took them 20+ minutes to complete my single order.
Worst chicken korma i have ever had in my life..not even close 1% to indian chicken korma..it was just a vegetable curry with few pieces of chicken..Masala wok guys please do some research before selling indian cuisines.?☹
This is a hit-or-miss kind of place. Today their Blazing Noodles was an overcooked mushy mess. Chicken Manchurian was also dry and overcooked. The only okay dish was their hot n sour and another soup. The staff was friendly and helpful. The soda machine was out of Coke. Not going back any time soon??????
