There's not many of theses location around. Me and my family love this location out of all of them that we have visit, it's out of the way but very worth it. I had a great experience at this location with a lady name Tina. The food was Great hot and fresh.
It has been a long time since I ate at a fast food place where everything was fresh and cooked perfectly. The gentleman behind the counter was very professional and friendly. Most of the Long John Silver's are closed or closing and I really prefer them over Captain D's and they were excellent today. I will definitely be back!! Keep up the good work.
I stopped by for lunch. I was welcomed as soon as I came in. I ordered the Super Sampler Platter which comes with popcorn shrimp, a chicken plank, fries, hushpuppies, coleslaw and that wonderful fish. It's a lot to eat and all so good. Cindy took my order and brought out my platter and even checked on me to see if everything was tasty. The store was clean and bright and the decor was fun. They have a tradition at LJS you may not be aware of: if the food and service are good, ring the bell next to the door on your way out to let the staff know. They alway say "thank you" for that. Thanks LJS and Cindy, keep up the good work!
I am actually closer to the other LJS location on Parker Road in Plano, but they have a very rude drive-thru attendant Bryan there whom I refuse to do business with. I tried this Richardson location (on Belt Line, E of Plano Road) and am delighted that they have a very courteous and professional drive-thru attendant Cindy here. To me, it's worth going out of my way an extra 20 minutes round-trip just so that I don't have to put up Bryan at the other location. Food quality here is excellent - I ordered the #5 with corn and green beans. Friendly and good customer service is still important to some people these days.
This is what I texted my wife after eating a takeout at long John silvers.Remember next time no long John silver. It was a waste of food and money. Moreover it is a torture for the stomach. I really think the oil and the product was very bad and low quality they have used. Even the fish smelled. They gave us half cooked hush puppies, the inside was still raw for some of them. Yucky, I had to spit it out.

This place is rarely busy, which might explain how they manage to maintain consistently good food and service. It's not gourmet dining, but the grilled salmon offers a nice contrast to the fried stuff. I usually go inside (mask required, no exceptions) but the drive thru has never gotten my order wrong. My only criticism is that the tartar sauce is lame, basically just straight mayonnaise with a tiny speck of pickle/relish.
Food was great, as expected. The gentleman who brought our food to the table was wonderful. Very kind and made you feel glad you came to eat there!
Great service. Staff was friendly and attentive. Only dislike was that now, they give sauce packets instead of bottles, and drinks are not self serve, and have to get a new cup every refill, but I guess is just Covid measures.
Haven't had it in awhile but it was fresh and delicious like I remember. I'll definitely be back
