Okay so I will be completely honest. This location has received a complete overhaul, that was very much so needed. I have not been inside since then. But I will say the piece of chicken I bought for a quick snack the other day, was by far the best piece of Kentucky Fried Chicken I have had since the Carolina Tenders ( please bring these back they are the best thing i have ever got from Kentucky and miss them so. But the mashed potato bowl needs some work. The potatoes were so thick they choked me, gravy gravy, cheese, butter, something. Thanks for that chicken leg though. I need some Carolina Tenders please!??
We ordered and paid online. I drove up to the drive thru and the woman said I had to come in to pick up the paid for food. If I'd ordered at the drive thru I don't what difference that would be. Anyway I got out of my cool vehicle to walk into their stifling hot restaurant to have them hand me the food they could've already given me. Plus the tenders were over spiced.
This location on Beltline plays the music so loud over the ceiling speaker system that you cannot hear the cash register attendant. They Refuse to turn it down so I will avoid this location. This used to be one of my favorite lunch stops but no more!
*** AVOID ***Ordered online mobile app. Wasn't allowed to go thru drive-thru. Made me go inside to pickup order. Dallas County is CODE RED with Omicron and they are forcing people (myself included) with compromised immune systems to go inside. I ordered online via app to avoid going inside.Staff at drive thru were extremely RUDE.
I tried the chicken sandwich which was good. They were just out of french fries at the time, customer service was good.
Management/owners are complete aholes and their ineptitude is outstanding. They put a very passive aggressive sign up stating they are hiring, in reality, management is showing how moronic they are and how no one should work at this KFC. Whoever thought this was a good idea needs a huge reality check.
Drove by and saw a gross message on their store sign that read, "Now hiring people that actually show up for work". As a person with common sense, I know that people want to work when you pay them fairly, when they have sick leave, and when they get reasonable time off. People also want to work when their boss isn't a rude, condescending tyrant. I have to assume a manager or owner thought this was funny and endearing. It's not. It's pathetic, immature, and disturbing. I hope they fail miserably.
Front sign says Hiring people that show up yes how funny. The people do show and go weeks with out pay. How can you keep a business open when your not paying your employees. A good business takes care of the employees and employees make the customers and business be successful. This company just shows that the franchise owner is only thinking of himself . Labor Board will be notified.
Had a Doordash order at this location at 9:30pm for a Michael R. The store had 10 people in it and when I approached one of them turned off the Open sign. The front door was locked but I was ignored. I Went back to the drive threw, honked and nobody answered. I thought this store closed at a later time. They took the customers money which had them upset, and I traveled here to pick up an order. Whoever your staff was at this time apparently was more concerned with keeping the guests inside entertained but did not bother to respond to anyone else. Hopefully there's some type of accountability here KFC...smh
“Now Hiring for people that actually show up to work.”How classy KFC, no wonder nobody wants to work there. There’s places down the street paying $15/hr and they still can’t find workers. Out of touch owners.
