You won’t want to miss this place if you’re looking for authentic food w great service at a reasonable price. As someone with a close Iranian family, I enjoy coming here for my comfort foods. Everything is freshly made and tasting good. On top of everything, I can’t recommend Mr. Khalid (front desk/server) enough for his hospitality and top-notch service, which makes this place extra welcoming.
We stumbled on this place after going to 3 other restaurants that either made us feel uncomfortable, the food was outrageously expensive with a bad atmosphere and being mistreated. We walked into Kasra and the atmosphere was great, we received excellent customer service and the food was amazing and reasonably priced. It’s family owned and everyone was very hospitable. They invited us to come back and try out their buffet on the weekends from 12-4pm, so we did. We were able to try a little bit of almost everything from the menu and we were completely satisfied again upon our return. This is definitely a place you should check out.
I come from LA, so I know what great Persian food tastes like.This is not up to that level by any stretch. First off, it is a buffet style for lunch (at least). I’m not really in the mood to feel like I’m at a hotel getting my continental breakfast.The koobideh is 7/10. Not the juiciest but solid enough especially for Dallas. The staff seems welcoming but also disappear once you sit down. The chicken was cold and the rice over oiled and buttery. Most of the dishes weren’t properly balanced and I could tell they were designed for quantity not quality.This is only for the buffet, though, so I’ll give another star hoping their fresh cooked menu is more up to par.

The chicken and ground beef kebabs were really good and moist.The curry chicken was probably my least favorite, as it was somewhat lacking in flavor.The salad shirazi and mint cucumber yogurt was on point and super tasty.Overall, had a great experience would definitely recommend.

Had the lunch buffet here recently and was very impressed by the food and the service. Every item I tried was delicious. They accommodated our large group well and went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable. The interior was beautiful as well, would definitely recommend!

My husband and I were visiting from Austin and we were looking for Persian food (since Austin doesn’t have any) and we were so happy when we walked in because the place was beautiful our server was really sweet, they were busy because they had a party in their venue space, but still remained calm and friendly. The food was so delicious we will definitely be back!
