I throughly enjoyed my experience at this place. Its clean, simple, and cute. I ordered their strawberry matcha fresca and fell in LOVE! You have to mix the flavors together to get the full effect. I didnt want it too sweet so they made mine less sweet, which was perfect. I also got the salmon rice ball which was excellent. I had to order another one to go! If you love matcha, I highly recommend coming here❤️

I REALLY wanted to like Junbi after hearing good things from my friends... but unfortunately I just don't get the hype after visiting this place twice.Starting on a positive note, Junbi is pretty aesthetic. Everything from the outside to the drink cups are cute. The yellow interior makes it a peaceful place to study/work. PLUS they have a mother freaking BIDET in the bathroom! How cool is that?Unfortunately, everything I've tried left me disappointed. I've seen some reviews mentioning inconsistency, which could very well be the reason.Matcha Affogato - The ice cream had a nice texture and the matcha flavor was present. It definitely gave me the much needed energy boost. However, it was bitter and lacking sweetness I want in ice cream. I also added tapioca to mine. The tapioca that day was too chewy on the outside but tough on the inside. I did notice that they were training a new-hire that day (and it looked like they needed an extra hand) but for the price, I would rather just get a tub of Haagen-Dazs Matcha ice cream.Strawberry Matcha - I decided to stop by again since it was on my way home from work. OK, so I figured that since the matcha affogato was bitter, I'd try the drink at 100% sweetness. Boy I was wrong, but it was way TOO sweet. This batch of boba was cooked better, but the sweetness and strawberry masked the actual flavor of the matcha.Ube Mochi Donut - mediocre; I've had better mochi donuts else where. I like my donuts slightly warm, but the donut here was cold and tasted like it has been sitting out for a while.Flight Rice Balls - Out of everything I've tried, the rice balls have the most potential. I thoroughly enjoyed all the fillings, but if I had to rank them it would be 1. Mentaiko 2. Spam & Egg 3. Salmon. However, the rice balls were constructed poorly. The rice was very hot, so I could tell that it was just made. The plastic wrap was sloppily sealed. When I unwrapped and took a bite, the rice balls practically fell apart.

Amazing place to get matcha, the only downside is the amount of meat they put in their rice balls. Ordered a spam one and there was only a pinch of meat.

I didn’t like the matcha orange drink so much but the matcha affogato was the best

this review is based on my most recent experiences. if i had written a review based on the first 4 months that they opened it would have been a confident 5 stars until their service started to become inconsistent.i do not know if their staff need retraining but their drinks are VERY inconsistent that i get anxious considering making the 25 minute drive to junbi i wouldn’t hesitate to before.i’ve been here 50-60 times since opening so i’m more than familiar with the menu and their flavors.it’s burdensome having to ask them to remake my drink so frequently and/or leave the store unsatisfied considering each cup is at least $6.the standard amount of sugar tastes different every time i go in. sometimes correct sometimes not sweet at all. and overall watery.i normally go twice a week but i haven’t been back in about 3 weeks..i’m unsure if it’s their supplied matcha or their recipe, but almost everything tastes watered down which is not a good sign for a place that specializes in matcha.i would not recommend the strawberry matcha as the matcha flavor is not present at all. it’s overwhelmingly strawberry purée which is a flavor achievable with just milk. i would say the same for the mango matcha even as a mango lover. but if i go to junbi for matcha, i expect to taste it in every sip.to end it on a good note, the rose matcha is silky and earthy, their blueberry matcha is well balanced and the ceremonial is very nice and has a umami after taste.

First time to Junbi. I got the Madagascar Vanilla Matcha, the matcha flavored seemed watered down but that might be due to the flavor I got. Based on these reviews I'll have to try the ceremonial matcha tea next. They have ice cream and rice balls which I didn't get a chance to try.I came in at 11 and it wasn't packed at all. Drinks came out in under 10 minutes.

First time visit and it was awesome! My boyfriend is OBSESSED with the strawberry vanilla latte! The span and egg rice ball is sooo good! The environment and the two ladies that work there were super sweet! Def a go to when I come back to this area!

The drinks are good. I asked for their 3 best sellers which were: Madagascar vanilla matcha, strawberry match, and yuzu dragon fruit matcha, respectively.Personally the vanilla isn't my favorite but it isn't horrible, it sort of just tastes like a milk tea. My personal favorite is the tutu dragon fruit matcha and the strawberry matcha is also really good. All my drinks had no ice and 0% sugar, since they use a flavoring syrup, which is already sweet on its own. It's a little higher priced for a tea drink without any toppings like boba, but it's not horribly overpriced.Side note: they need better straws. They gave me blunted straws that had no pointed end so I couldn't even break the surface of the plastic to get a drink. I had to use a chopstick to poke a hole into the plastic covering in order to put a straw inside.

Junbi, take all my money! I didn’t expect to like this place as much as I do. I am a literally obsessed. I was looking for a really good quality matcha beverage , that wasn’t a Boba shop (because we know the quality of that). And I am so fortunate to have found this place. It is so close to my work, and I’ve been coming here more than I like to admit. I like my Matcha to have a strong present taste. Therefore, Ive been getting the ceremonial Matcha. Half sweet, and it is literally perfection. Sometimes I add a little bit of oat milk inside just to give a little bit of a creamier taste. But I’ve been coming back and getting this nonstop. My cousin gets the chrysanthemum tea less sweet, and she is also very obsessed. Every time I go to get my Matcha, she always wants me to get hers. The quality of the Matcha is phenomenal. If you really are a Matcha lover, and you appreciate good match. You will not be disappointed in this place. I have yet to go back and try the hot Matcha lol but for right now I’m really enjoying my cold refreshing ceremonial Matcha.ICE CREAM: Oh my God you guys get the chance do not miss out on the ice cream! You can taste the Matcha in the soft serve, and it really does have a perfect ratio of sweetness. It’s a very creamy and very rich.

I love this place! I order from here all of the time because its so good! I always get a vanilla iced matcha, and sometimes I get the flight of rice balls. Delicious, every single time.
