This was our first time eating here. What a find. Service was excellent, food was great, did I mention the service? I have eaten at a lot of Chinese restaurants this is at the top of the list, plus you can watch the ladies make your soup dumplings while you wait. Our server made excellent recommendations and food was out fast and hot. Great experience!!!

This place is amazing and authentic Chinese cuisine. Great for sharing with family or close friends ! The staff are friendly and the portions are big so definitely share lol.The vegetables are fresh and the meats are DELICIOUS!Definitely recommend the shrimp balls and juicy curry dumplings ? ABSOLUTELY FLAVORFUL

First time here! Came mostly for the spicy wontons as we were craving them when we ate at ding tai fung before. They were pretty good! Also got the scallion pancake which was also really good. Got the pork shrimp soup which was okay. Crispy tiger shrimp was reallly good and crunchy just as expected and went along well with the beef fried noodles. Overall good experience and delicious. Will come back when I crave some spicy wontons! 5/5

A few years ago I made a trip to Hong Kong and discovered how much better authentic Chinese food tastes than what I grew up with in the USA. It's really night and day. And I figured that was the last time I would have real authentic Chinese food. Today I had it again at Jeng Chi. It was wonderful. Save the air fare and head to Jeng Chi to find out what I mean.

Great Chinese Restaurant! Highly reccommend the pork and crab "juicy" dumplings!I reccommend going with some friends or family so you can all sample a few dishes. Large lazy susans on the larger tables make this easy!Wait staff is all great, and very helpful in guiding you into a good choice if its your first time!We had the Pork and Crab juicy dumplings, egg drop soup, hot and spur soup, egg rolls, braised pork belly and egg, and Chinese broccoli with garlic! They also have a bakery area and bar up front but we didnt try either of those!

My partner and I joined a group of about 18 persons for a birthday celebration dinner which was simply over the top wonderful! The staff prepared for us by getting detailed information on what we wanted to order well in advance of arrival. Sitting at two large round tables, the entire meal was delivered with perfect precision, and everything was super tasty, fresh and hot. We had four or five different appetizers, and then lots of entrees. I loved the pork dumplings, the orange chicken was fresh and wonderful tasting, great chicken fried rice, Mongolian beef was phenomenal, etc. etc. Service was simply exceptional ! And the restaurant prepared a fabulous customized birthday cake which was light and flavorful. All this on a Saturday night with the restaurant absolutely busting full. But they pulled it off without a hitch. Kudos to the Jeng Chi staff and management.

This was an amazing experience for everyone in our party. I am a vegan and they had no problem substituting the fish sauce out of my food to keep it vegan. The people at my table are not vegan and they were very happy to try several different items on the menu. Our waitress was fantastic and very informative about the menu. They were very crowded and very busy but it never took away from our dining experience. It was not overly loud or crowded. The tables are spaced nicely to where you don’t feel cramped. I would definitely go back here!

We ordered online and got there maybe five minutes past the pickup time they gave. I don't think that delay should serve as an excuse. Spouse said she liked the shrimp dish OK, but my orange chicken was cold, dry and tasteless. I can get a far better version of this at my local restaurant for less money.

First time here, most likely also my last. The atmosphere is very nice and the service is excellent. However, the food leaves a lot to be desired, especially compared to the prices charged. Our hot and sour soup had a water/gelatinous broth with no flavor, simply inedible. The wonton soup was bland. The only dish that was worthy were the dumplings.

I’ve been coming to Jeng Chi since I was a kid when they were in their original location a few doors down! This is one of the best, most authentic Chinese food restaurants you can find in the DFW area. Their juicy dumplings and green onion pancakes are unbeatable. Highly recommend for anyone who’s looking for a friendly environment, good service and some excellent Chinese dishes. Looking forward to eating here for many more years!
