Zero star really. This restaurant is low and shameless by cheating on customers. I stopped by during my recent trip to Dallas to have a take out order of crispy pork since I always love the dish. The take out chef did the following two things to me: 1) when weighting the order, he put extra source into the food box and weight them as part of the pork. I guess it is not nice but I am OK with it; 2) now the cheating part: crispy pork is more expensive than roast chicken. What the chef did is to swap out the pork with a leftover old roast chicken meat and then put a few crisp port on top to cheat on me. I did not find this until I got into my hotel room and started eating. I ended up throw away the old chicken and ordered food again from the hotel instead since it is more than 20 minute drive away. What a shame!!! If they did this to me, they would probably do it again. Take out eater be aware!!!
Ok, so let me explain the sparse photos…LOL. We came after a fast. That is not the best plan, ha! We (the hubs and I) practically demolished the Roast Pork, Pork Shumai, Fried Shrimp Ball, Shrimp Spring Rolls, Kai Lan, Soup Dumplings, Pork Spare Ribs, yeah IKR!Then I remembered to take photos when the kind lady brought our dessert of Fried Red Bean Sesame Balls and Egg Tarts.Sauce tip: ask for lemon slices and smash them with your chili oil for some good shumai love. Enjoy! This place always gives the best burps. ?Self love tips: Order hot tea to sip on, your gut will thank you in the morning! ☺️
It was an unplanned visit. We were hungry and this was close and glad we did stop. Very tasty roasted meats. The duck skin was thin, crispy and not fatty. The duck meat was moist and seasoned perfectly. The crispy pork was also very good. The skin had spots where it was not too crispy but the majority of it was. Also seasoned to perfection. As a bonus, the service was very good.
Excellent food on a Monday. Birthday lunch for me. Glad I ignored the bad reviews. Sure, they only have one waitress and six tables filled. That’s why service may seem slow. So we just walk up to the front and tell someone what we want. Works fine for us. Fried shrimp ball. Shrimp crepe. Cai Lan in garlic sauce. Half a Peking duck. Roast pork was bit burnt on crispy skin, so tasted bitter. Would have taken one star off for that but I’m already full.
Bad service. The lady who takes care my table was so impolite. She messed up everything without saying sorry. I had to wait more than 1 hour for the foods and drinks in Tuesday afternoon.I never come back again.
Reasonably priced authentic Chinese food. I always try Peking duck if I am new to the restaurant. It's pretty good, not the best, but good enough when I have a craving. Dim Sum is good but I would like more variety/choices. If you go right when they open, they push out old stuff and kept going until those are taken. They really should trash the old stuff that looked bad. We wanted the new ones that made fresh and had to sit there till the old stuff is taken.
Dim sum was good, but the service was lacking. No one came around to pick up empty dishes or to refill our drinks. The waiter/waitress never stopped by our table, and we were there for awhile.
I've been here a handful of times. After this last time, I will not be coming back. The place isn't clean - they don't clean their sauce dispensers or even the tip jar! The ladies with the carts aren't wearing gloves and they're almost touching the food in the containers if they aren't careful in picking them up. Food also wasn't good. I really wanted to like this place since its down the street and not crazy busy like kirin court. But they need to be cleaner.
Great food at a fair price. Nice and very welcoming staff. Shout out to Cynthia and her gang!
Great food and friendly service. I enjoy the BBQ Pork over steamed rice and BBQ Pork Fried Rice. They have a yummy BBQ Pork bun as well.
