We went for lunch and weren't sure we were at the right place because it says 'members only' on the door. We went in anyway and were glad that we did! Food was great, service was great and performed with a smile. They have pool tables and while we couldn't take the time when we were there, we plan to go back.
Recently moved to Dallas area for a new job. I get off at work at 4pm so I'd stop by Fox & Hound for the "free" pool. I did this 5 days a week for 3 weeks. Then suddenly a new bartender decides to charge me for the pool. She say's the pool is free only with food purchase. I told her I have never eaten there. (I typically spend $20 to $30 dollars each visit with beer and tip. I tip minimum $5 bucks even if I spend $2. The night prior I had a $16.05 tab and tipped the waitress Jess $13.95.) The new chick still wants to charge me for the pool. I ask to speak with the manager. Some guy named Oscar is the manager. He basically says "lucky we don't back charge you". I told him "you need to deal with your employee training and/or discipline and not attack the customer." The right thing to do would have been to explain the rates for future dates of pool and drop the pool charges since I had been playing pool for weeks and was never charged. He decided to charge me anyway. I paid the tab, NO TIP, and told him I won't be back EVER. You lost a customer. THEN and ONLY THEN did he offer to drop the pool charge. I said "no" and told him to keep it. When he had an opportunity to do the right thing he chose to screw the customer. I will never go back. The atmosphere is not that great and the only reason I went was because it was close to my hotel and the pool was free. If I have to pay to play I'll go to a real pool hall with better tables and better lighting and better attitudes.Another note: the floors are sticky everywhere there is tile and the bathroom reeks of urine. That's why I never ordered food there. I won't order food from a restaurant when the front line is so filthy because I'd expect the back line is worse.
Great food, Awesome Music. Our server Jess was super helpful in helping use decided on what to drink &’ eat. Recommend all the right things. She made our visit so much more fun and amazing. Definitely would be coming back.
We went for my sons birthday which was also Mothers Day. There weren’t many ppl there and there was only one server but she did a good job serving every one in a mannerable time
I stopped by Fox and Hound after work last night with a coworker and had a great time. I like that they have a lot of TV's showing all the games and music videos. Morgan and Delanie were really friendly and attentive behind the bar. We never had to wait for a drink. The classic buffalo wings were also really good. We'll definitely be returning. It's a great place to hang out after a long day.
First off I want to say the staff here is outstanding. I'm always greeted with a smile from both of the beautiful bartenders I'm familiar with. The service is prompt and they're attentiveness to patrons is impressive, even when they're swamped. My beef is with management and the corporate office. I was literally raised in the service industry, my family has owned and operated a single location restaurant just down the street from here since 1979. Bartenders and servers live off of tips. The industry standard no matter the establishment is that the bartenders, who are responsible for mixing, pouring and providing cocktails for the entire waitstaff and their clientele are entitled to a percentage of everyone's sales. True at times that might mean they make a bit more than everyone else but it is earned every shift. They literally carry the weight of the entire shifts alcohol needs on their shoulders. This place has decided to take those earnings from their tenders by leaving up to the wait staff to decide how much if anything they will tip. It's wrong and needs to be addressed.
I went there with a Friend on Saturday night and I had a BLAST!! I even met a Lovely Spirit woman named Phoenix whom Gifted me a beautiful Tiger's Eye Bracelet. We just had drinks and their OH SO DELICIOUS Cheese Sticks. We played Darts and Yes, I won 4 times. They also have pool tables and a Beer Pong set up. The Atmosphere is Nice, Clean and Spacious. Our server was very nice and attentive. I most definitely will make this My Dart Fun, go to place.I reccomend you check it out.
I'm from the state of Washington visiting a friend and landed here at the Fox and Hound. My drunks were okay but very disappointed when my Moscow Mule tasted like a cup of lime juice. My waitress Jessica took care of it and was very accommodating. Her sense of humor and service made me stay for more drinks and ended up having a really good time. If you ask her, it's my opinion, she loves to hear our opinion but does not care about it. Lol. Made me laugh. Honestly, very attentive with great interactions. Will be back because of people like her.
Bar is lacking, also watch your receipts they will charge you for drinks you didn't order. This place has gone down since they switched to a restaurant due to food sales. You have to get your own drinks at the bar now, and they are very little staffed so expect long wait times and food orders. If you want to play pool and get drinks, go to wizards down the road on 75.
Delanie and Morgan are absolute angels. Heavens came down and blessed them with wings. One day the stars aligned especially and perfectly and there sat the most special and best of them all. Pepsi may I offer?!?!… NO!!!…. “I shal have a Diet Coke.” They replied. And we have been friends ever since. The end.
