When we tried this place for the first time about a month ago, we were warned going in that they had run out of rice. While this seemed peculiar, to us, that a Tex-Mex restaurant could possibly run out of rice, we were hungry and "allowed" to substitute salads for the absent rice and so we dealt with it.And then we tried them again at 7:30 PM yesterday. This time we were stopped at the door with the staff telling us that they had, this time, run out of food. What kind of restaurant runs out of rice or out of food completely at 7:30 PM. Obviously, it is the kind that is very POORLY managed, owned, and run. We will never again waste our time or money there .
We went with a friend as we dont live in Richardson and we were not impressed with the quality of the waitstaff or the food. What was the most surprising was the small portion sizes compared to the prices. Nachos that came with 8 chips the size of a Tostito Corn Chip with beans and cheese were $10.00. My burrito was a six in tortilla with ground beef, cheese, lettuce and chili topping and was 14.99. My 10 year old had a soft taco and it was 4.99. Frankly, the portion sizing was that of Taco Bell and had a comparable taste. I won't go back, even if it is with my wife and her best friend.
Great staff and never disappointed with the food. Try their Fideo and ask them to put ground beef in it.
Wonderful, great, yummy Tex Mex food. Family place, extensive menu. Wonderful, helpful staff! My chimichanga was cooked to perfection, and the sauce made it outstanding. Their beans and rice were perfect TexMex sides...along with the guacamole and sour cream! I just can't wait to go there again! Oh! and my friends margherita made her smile and sigh...the real sign of good stuff and happy customer's ?❗
Great place to get a good tasting Mexican food. Have eaten at 3 different places.. Al good
Place has been our go to for Mexican for for over 20 year. Friendly staff and great food.
It was my first time there and the food was great. I will be back. The staff was great as well. Very polite and welcoming.
Not sure why I hadn't given Dos Charros a review in the past. This is probably my favorite Mexican restaurant to eat at. The staff are friendly, and recognize me with a smile whenever I come in. The food is fresh and tasty. I used to bring my vegetarian girlfriend with me - and they would make most dishes vegetarian if we asked. So they are flexible and attentive to customers needs. Tonight I got their Katherine's Enchiladas - which is 2 beef enchiladas with a spicy queso sauce. It also comes with a beef fajita taco.
I love this place. I live nearby which is convenient I really love their spinach enchiladas and their fajita chicken tacos. Wonderful guacamole and the staff is wonderful. Check out their weekend brunch, OMG!!
The food was pretty good the white sauce was great the service was okay. We were able to get out without spending 50.
