Pricey!! Two burgers, one fry and one beer = $40Burgers, delicious. Very good, lots of bread, skinny piece of meat but it was good.Fries, no. $3.99 for a small unseasoned french fries, and we didn't finish them because they weren't that good.Great Beer selection (took a minute to get the beer), good atmosphere and pricey.French fries really bothered me.
The only positive of this experience is the staff was friendly. That being said my takeout order was in every sense of the word a disappointment. I order the beef corndog, fries, and chili with no cheese and no scallions. Error number 1 -I never got my fries. No fries in the bag, I called the restaurant and the price was refunded but still an extreme disappointment. Error #2- I got a bowl of chili that was barely half full. When I told the employee over the phone she said that they only give 4 oz of chili with 2 of those ounces being the cheese. For the cost of $5.50 I get 1/4c of chili only. That is the biggest rip off if I ever heard one. Waste of money, waste of time, not worth it for a spoonful of chili and a corndog. Never going back nor would I ever recommend.
Best hot dog I’ve had in a while. Amazing twist on your traditional hot dog and the chili cheese tots are to die for! I got the Texas dog which has bbq sauce on it and I was iffy about it at first but first bite I was hooked!
First time we have been here. It was a really good hot dog. The buns were Hawaian rolls, i loved that. The chili cheese tots were great. Only problem I had was the price. I thought it was a little much for a dog and tots. The atmosphere was fairly festive. The outside seating and other areas were a good addition. Over all it was a good experience.
This was my first and likely last visit to this restaurant. It was disappointing to say the least. I was very excited to see a chicago style dog on the menu and ordered it immediately with some onion rings. The food came out very quickly and I was expecting the best iteration of a Chicago dog since my last trip to Chicago a few years ago. Instead, I recieved a room temperature dog on a lobster roll with all of the expected veggies and condiments. Unfortunately, the condiment to dog ratio was way off. There was so mch mustard and reish on it I could not pick it up. Each time I tried my hand was covered in mustard and everything in the bun tred to shoot out of the bun like a greased pig. I ended up have to eat my dog with a fork and knife. Again, the dog was room temperfature so it was not pleasant to eat. Now on to the onion rings. They were the bright spot of this visit. Crispy perfection. So I guess if I only want onion rings I could go back but not for another dog so that is unlikely since I drove 32 miles through the city to try it. Not impressed at all and do not recommend it.
What can I say? It's just a hot dog. Still having a hard time accepting the meteoric rise in prices at casual restaurants since the start of covid.What I paid for a hot dog lunch here I used to pay for a steak dinner before the pandemic. Sure, things have changed, and I'm sure some business plan dictates what to charge, but at the end of the day it's just a hot dog.If paying triple for casual food from what it cost 2 years ago makes you feel special then you will love this place. For me, it's one and done.
The Dog Haus in Richardson, TX not only makes great meals they have the friendliest employees. I didn't order a soda because they didn't have a "no ice" option on their website and asked if I could order one. The VERY nice employee told me they just give you an empty cup and you pour your own soda so the next time I could get my "no ice" soda from the fountain myself.He was so nice and explained things exactly.Great customer service!

Brat and specialty hot dogs/corn dogs are top notch! Tator tots were fine. Taking one star off for prices, which are on the high side. Fun atmosphere and outdoor seating with picnic tables and fountain.
