Great place. I love the bao buns (so far the absolute best I've had in DFW so far, enjoying tasting all the ones I encounter, still come back to these for the taste and the price). I do a build your own bowl, spring rolls or bao buns, but finally tried the nom fries recently. They were surprisingly tasty. I would try them again. I've had almost everything on the menu and can't wait to complete it. I've been a customer since day 1 (just before opening I went and chatted with Dom to get the details on the place taking over the old Tom and Chee) so this review is seriously past due. Great place and I hope to enjoy it for as long as possible. If you are contemplating, just head on in and give it a go.
I'm really grateful for my server who cooked shrimps for just me, without any seasonings. This place gave me the best option in Dallas, where I had cooked food and added all my ingredients without having to compromise on my allergies. Loved it so much, came here the next day for lunch as well.
The guy who helped us was friendly; food was good, fresh ingredients; you can create your own bowl, which is basically a base (rice, vermicelli noodles, cauliflower rice, salad), protein (steak, chicken, pork, tofu, salmon, tuna or shrimp), unlimited veggies, sauce (either sweet or spicy, my personal recommendation, the firecracker sauce) and some other toppings, or you can just order form the menu. The place looks good, clean and neat, nice area, good option if you are looking to try something new.
I order pickup regularly for lunch. I suggest not ordering through Chowbus. There’s been a real decline since last summer. The menu is creative and the food is always tasty but the portions are super inconsistent. It’s almost always that there isn’t very much meat in your dish. Today I ordered a pick up order through Chowbus and I went 15 minutes after the pick up time. (To give them some breathing room) I got there and they told me they didn’t receive my order until just then. (It had been 45 minutes) I needed to get back to work but they said they could make it on the spot. Chowbus doesn’t give you the option for extra protein and as they almost always have too small portions, Im sure to list it. While making my order 50 minutes after I ordered it, I was asked to pay for my extra protein on the spot. Which is completely fine but you would think they would comp 2 dollars for the inconvenience. I declined the extra protein. More than likely won’t do a pick up order there again. I may eat there again but it’s unlikely.
This restaurants as not fitting with my vietnamese family's palate. We got the order of thai curry, bibimbap, and poke. The thai curry's sauce was too tumericy. The bibimbap was not flavorful that my sister said, "You make it at home is more delicious". Her bean sprouts were cold too. Furthermore, my poke bowl was good, but somewhat bland. To my family, it was as if we are eating without feeling, care, and taste anymore. A couple of us had to just eat, chew, and swallow. The things are pre-made in containers for throwing in the bowls, which is understandable depending on what ingredients though. In additionial, the food is at a good price, but a fountain drink is expensive at two dollar something for a typical cup size, I believe 12 or 16 oz. Refill is available, if not, then I broke the restaurant's rule. On the good hand, the portions seemed small, but it is huge. We ate and ate and ate, but the bowl was still not empty.
Amazing and super fresh. They show such quality and care in preparing the food in their open kitchen. Great price points, but I am sure they are about to increase because well....like everything COVID-19 back log of non available items in high demand driving up cost.Please give this place a chance. It is totally worth it! Great place for lunch or dinner!!! Really cute park across the street and FREE parking on the street and FREE parking in a garage.

Fresh fantastic and awesome. Had the Vietnamese Bowl. This will be on my go back list. Patio was nice and shaded and comfortable.

I loved it. The service was awesome and the food taste and quality was excellent. Teriyaki chicken is a must try here.
