Went here on a Friday night and it was not crowded. Waited 15 minutes to be seated. Waited another 20 for someone to come by and take our order. 45 minutes later out drinks came out. We had ordered chips and salsa also. Meanwhile the table next to us came in after we did. They got there complete order and were paying their check before we even got our drinks. After being there for an hour and 45 minutes and not even getting chips and salsa, we got up and left. Will never go back.
Their fries are top notch. Crispy on the outside and soft on the inside.All the food was very fresh.The black bean soup was a 9/10 for me. I would have liked the beans to be a little bit softer, but that is more of a personal preference.I had two meals here while traveling (coconut chicken salad and banana french toast). I liked them both and would order them again, but I do have a few suggestions.1. I would like to see vegan and dairy free options on the kids menu.2. The banana bread was a little too sweet in my opinion. I still loved the dish and would order it again.3. I would have likes for the oranges in the chicken salad to be cut smaller, and have no seeds.
Came this morning and they were definitely not short staffed. After 10 minutes of waiting without any acknowledgement, the hostess took one group to a table and then preceded to walk to a corner and roll silverware while looking at the crowd of people in the front. There were at least 6 different groups and none of us were asked our names to go on the list. After waiting 20 minutes without getting our names on the list and hostess only rolling silverware, we left. Terrible terrible customer service. Communication and acknowledgment would have been nice.
Cafe Brazil was really good. I pass by it everyday on my way to work, and one day decided to give it a try. Service was outstanding and I love the bottomless coffee. Big perk, they're open 24/7. Another option besides IHOP to get some studying done when need be! I recommend this place 1000%. Great food, and great people.
Awfull service… If is forme I wouldn’t give any star … I just left this nasty and awfull place My husband and I order food and after 30 minutes they just bring my husband food and they explained to me about my order take little longer for the cook and it was just “chilaquiles” after another 30 minutes I ask for my order and they forgot an 1 hour pass they still didn’t have my food ready… the manager offer free food next time but I refuse and left the food taste very nasty and after I just paid my ticket for my husband food and she gave me the wrong change back!!!!
We hadn't been in a long time, and this return visit did not disappoint. The usual great breakfast, bottomless coffee bar, and funky artsy atmosphere are a winner!

I’ve been wanting to try this place for the longest time and finally did. My order was to go buy even then. The server was very friendly and attentive. My hot chocolate was made to perfection. Also ordered the homemade chicken tenders, delicious. Ranch is the bomb. The chorizo empanada was a bit too much for me. The breeding overtook the chorizo but it was good. Just not good enough for me to get again. I will definitely come back.
Went to specific location because we were having an 'In Memory of' brunch. Wasn't impressed with menu. Not as I had remembered it. It had been over 6 years since last visit. Nothing had changed in that time. The ware and tear are showing. I was embarrassed by the condition since it was my recommendation to go there.. I ordered a meal with eggs, bacon & pancakes. The Pancake were the absolute WORST I had ever eaten. I kept adding butter & syrup in hopes of adding flavor. My son in law had same meal. He had same opinion. When our waitress returned with check, she asked about the pancakes since they were obviously still on our plates. She checked with Mgr & he took one meal off from our check. Also, the staff didn't keep the self-serve coffee carafes filled. Never had a second cup of coffee! This isn't typical of other locations. Have eaten in the west Plano location often & much better interior. I guess I will go again but not this location (Richardson), but it won't be soon. Very disappointed.
Okay, this place is 5-stars to me because I’ve been coming here since I was a kid, but I had to leave an unfortunate review this time for one of the managers. I think her name was Melissa or Marissa? I heard someone else say it so I’m not quite sure, but she was wearing a red, collared shirt on 3/14. Anyway, she was kind of low-key rude to me but also to the other staff working. Didn’t try to make conversation but spoke to me like I was dumb or something. Wasn’t willing to really serve me, even though she introduced herself to me as my server. I saw her very briefly twice and had to ask another sweet waitress for help after that (and she willingly obliged and had no complaints and a great attitude…I think her name was Ava? Def give her a raise). Anyway, her vibes were off and I was unappreciative of her attitude tbh. Like I get you’re busy but a little common decency or courtesy would be nice, Melissa or Marissa or whatever your name is.On another note, I hate leaving a bad review because I truly love this place so much and this is truly my first bad interaction in years and years of coming here. I’ll leave another review that’s good soon.
