I was Craving some good Ice Cream and I was invited to Braum's. I had a Double Meat Cheeseburger, fries and a Coke and all was so good and Hot. After I ate I was so full, so I bought some Rocky Road Ice Cream to take home, along with some cookies, milk and frozen meals. Later that night I ate some of the Chocolate Cookies with 3 different types of chocolate chips, plus the Rocky Road Ice Cream and it was all so delicious. I most definitely will go back.
Nasty.Whether they were just hit with a youth sports team or a slow Sunday afternoon, that place is disgusting.They have a difficult time restocking ice creams.They are nice enough but, with all the people working, it should be much cleaner.We now drive 5 min into Plano on Independence parkway to the Brahams there.I have no idea how this one stays open. We won't be back. That's for sure.
Wow that was awful. Walk in, it takes forever to get acknowledged by an employee. Finally, A CHILD waltzes up and takes my order. Couldn’t have been older than 8 years old. I guess this place employs child labor. Finally place my order (#5 combo) and get upsold to large fries and large soda, but no cup was provided (I guess 8 year olds are forgetful).I didn’t have to wait long for my order to be fulfilled, but that speed came at the huge cost of accuracy. What I got was a bland, lukewarm burger. The cheese wasn’t melted, and there was NO BACON! How do you mess that up? The “large” fries left much to be desired, and were ice cold. I have no idea how that managed to go out. What is going on here?!Didn’t even bother to try to get a refund. Attempting so would mean standing around and then surely having to plead my case to an 8 year old. When I moved to Texas, everyone sang praises about how great Braums is. Maybe the ice cream is great, but their burgers and customer service are trash. I would not recommend anyone go here.
Came here an hour before closing time. I and my partner were standing around the counter for a while before someone, who looked and sounded like they’ve had enough of customers for today, decided to finally come take our orders. However, I was concerned when I noticed a child (less than 10 years old) idling around in the kitchen. I don’t think a child should be in the area where foods are being handled (basic food safety for commercial restaurants).Moreover, the child knew how (and was allowed to) operate a cash register, which made me believe that he was related to someone who works there. I’ve never seen that before, even in family-owned businesses.Food was so-so for the price. I wanted to get ice cream but was so appalled by the service that I decided it was not worth it. Maybe it’s just this location, or bad luck that I met the staffs that I met today, but I would not come back to this location nor recommend it to anyone.
Very cool place with fast food, ice cream, and groceries. I had the banana bread sundae which was delicious but a little on the rich side. The place need a bit of housekeeping and cleanup. The staff was also very unfriendly and cold. As much as I like the concept and the quality I was turned off by the service received.
Check your order before you drive off!!!!!!!!!!!!Three Sundays in a row, ordered the same ice cream cone... and three Sundays in a row we got the wrong order. Today I even told the manager, who took my order. I was given the wrong ice cream the last two weeks. Trying to prevent the third mishap, he brushed me off and I was still given the wrong ice cream. AND GOOD LUCK TRYING TO REACH THE RESTAURANT CAUSE THEY WON'T ANSWER.
The to-go place for ice cream! Everyone loves Braum's. Friendly staff. Lots of options!
The cashier was a bit rude couldn't tell if she was having a bad day but seemed to take it out on the customer while I was ordering. The food and ice cream was great. I also noticed they have a small grocery store here which was really cool!
I've been going to this Braum's for years. This trip was particularly odd. Employees were unsure about what they were doing, the 'supervisor?' was loudly telling them what to do from the opposite side of the restaurant. Even having the guy who dipped my ice cream with sauce out of the small container he dished it into to dump it upside down into what she deemed the appropriate container. Just plain weird.....
The sandwiches and ice creams are yum.Shake was a tad bit too thick, it was like an ice cream in a glass, still tasty though.
