The tonkotsu ramen was good but we feel like it taste like any other Japanese ramen. The combination yakisoba was okay, it tastes like the instant ramen stirred fried with combination of seafood and meat. I guess cuz we make that a lot at home so it was not so special to us. But overall we enjoy our meal. They do have the best tempura shrimp and their okonomiyaki was very delicious tho! I also called a pina colada without alcohol and it was only $2 (it was small). With tax we spent $49, with tips it was $55. Average pricing, not expensive ??
Food was very fresh and delicious. Presentation was very good. Friendly customer service and the owners were super nice. 10/10 would come again and bring friends!!
Been looking for a great sushi place close to campus (UTD) and Akaya was delicious! Not only that, but the service was incredible. Our server, Victoria, made sure to check up on us as much as possible (but not too much!) and she always had a smile on her face. Make sure to try the ramen and the sashimi salad. So good!
This is the best salad I’ve ever had!! Great quality and taste!! 10/10 recommend!! They also have good rolls and fried rice

We got Golden City ?and Rockin Roll ?. They were amazing, but we love Tempura anyways. It was a great vibe with cool seating. The portions were good and we were stuffed. We got Gyoza too and it came an Apple flavored sauce with was dope. Great time and friendly staff.
We really enjoyed this place. Very extensive menu which includes ramen, sushi/sashimi, and numerous small plates such as calamari, Japanese fried chicken, etc. They also have cocktails and sake and if I had one small complaint, it's that the server wasn't familiar with the sake options so we just picked one at random, and luckily it was good. We enjoyed every item we ordered among the 6 of us at the table.
This is my go-to place for ramen when I'm on this side of town! I always order the garlic Tonkatsu ramen, and it never lets me down. The flavor is consistent, and the serving is large. My only complaint is that they charge for chili paste when most other ramen places have these condiments already on the table ??♀️
I really enjoy this place. The atmosphere, the music, & the food is always great!!! Definitely a hidden gem for me.
Super busy when we got here but our waitress was friendly, the food was great, and for how busy they were, we didn't have to wait too long to actually eat.The staff was also very aware of keeping everything sanitized for the next guests to sit down and not spread germs, which was nice to see.
