Stopped in for a late lunch/early dinner. I had the Grilled Chicken Sandwich with fries and a fountain drink. The Grilled Chicken Sandwich was beyond my expectations. It was very tasty and flavourful. Served hot and French Fries were hot and fresh too. The condiments bottles were filled up too.The dining room was clean and some TVs ? to watch too. The bathroom ? was very clean too. This Smashburger also has a patio out back for outdoors dining.Over all a good dining experience at this Smashburger in Prosper, TX. I highly recommend a meal here!
Surprised to see so many bad reviews. I guess they've made some changes because the place was clean and the food was delicious. Hadn't tried Smashburger before, found my new favorite place for burgers.
If I could rate my experience here today I’d give it zero stars but sadly I can’t. Horrible, I’ve been to this location before and never had a problem until now. I took off a few vegetables on my burger and one of the dressing that it had on it. They gave me a dry burger with meat and bacon only when that’s not what I asked for. Also it wasn’t even that busy when I placed my order. People in the kitchen need to know how to read or they shouldn’t work in the kitchen. The burger I was supposed to get bacon, ranch, avocado, and the meat on there.
Poor customer service . Burger buns was totally stale and not hot at all . Black bean was probably the worst burger ever and it had stiff competition from the fish burger. And got handful of haystack onion is totally not worth the side of 4$. Smashburger’s old menu was fantastic. This is now a mockery and the add to it poor service and poor food prep just makes it worse
I ordered a mushroom Swiss burger from Smashburger. I Added sautéed onions mustard ketchup and Smashburger sauce. 1st time ordering. I paid $21.00 via Uber Eats delivery. I Called the store on Preston Road to complain about the burger being dry with No Sauce and Burnt. I was given the spill that I would have to complain to Uber eats being that I ordered through a third-party. I’ve heard it before but I told the person that answered that I would think they would want to know about the quality of food that they sent. I was even more disturbed by the fact that I asked for a manager and she refused to put a manager on the phone. Poor customer service and poor Quality of food. My first experience with Smashburger will be my last.
Had the Colorado veggie burger. It was indeed smashed but on top of that it was dry and very bland. The sweet potato fries sucked too. Never again
i do NOT recommend coming here. my grandma and i came here for a quick lunch and the service was TERRIBLE! they are incredibly understaffed so there is one person serving meals and making milkshakes. however, this young lady is TAKING HER TIME in serving these burgers. there have consistently been at least 10 burgers on the counter ready to be served. a lot of them have been sitting on that counter for at least 20 minutes. but she’s just standing there. the place is also very dirty. the soda fountain has a mountain of ice on it and the lids are all over the place. oh and the trash can….don’t get me started. it looks like no one has emptied the trash since yesterday!! honestly, it would have been faster to go to whataburger, and it takes almost an hour to get your food.
The associate that took my order was nice but no one seems to care about anything. Place was filthy, it wasn’t busy but the food prep took a very long time, employees arguing in front of patrons, the food runner had a TERRIBLE attitude… she would literally mock customers as they walked away with their food (which they had to goTo the counter and ask for because she didn’t care enough to do her job and run it to them). Don’t recommend coming here at all.
Though the cashier was not the most friendly, me and my family very much enjoyed our burgers. I got the smoked bacon brisket burger...it was SO good. I usually can't eat things with that much meat but the smoke on that brisket was so delicious. My son enjoyed his Turkey burger and my husband thoroughly enjoyed his Double Bacon burger however he said next time he is get the smoked bacon brisket burger. The service was fairly quick and the table server was pleasant and accommodating. However, there was something wrong with the Sprite dispenser at the fountain machine. It had a weird taste for us and a few other customers and there were black spots in it, when we told one of the workers he just pressed the button to make some come out and walked away. They didn't do anything else. However for the most part we enjoyed ourselves. The location in Prosper is kind of small in the front but they have seating in the back and on the patio.
Ordered food to go for pickup during dinner time and the burgers were soggy, smothered in ketchup, smashed and the fries tasted hours old. Haven’t had smash burger in a couple of years, and will not be coming back.
