I showed up yesterday with my kiddos and was greeted promptly as we walked through the door. It was our first time here and they helped us out with recommendations. The food was great! At the end of our dinning experience the manager April came by our table to check on us and brought my kids complimentary cookies which were delicious!. Definitely got a repeating customer here! Great Job Sauce!
My husband and I went to Sauce for the first time and loved it! We were greeted by Hunter and Jedd and told them it was our first time here. We asked them what were there favorites and without missing a beat Hunter said The Pig Pizza and Jedd said the Bruschetta. So with that we said that’s what we would like with a couple of beers. Within 15 minutes we were enjoying the pizza and bruschetta and absolutely LOVED IT! We will be back again and think we found a new place to eat at. Thank you Hunter and Jedd you guys are awesome!!!!
So good! I love their thin crust but my husband likes the hand stretched. It's a place we can both go and share a meal and we know it will be good.
*edit down to 1 star. Was refunded, but not the amount i paid. I guess they decided to keep the tip for allowing me to sit there and watch my friends eat? Or maybe the service they didn’t provide? Seems to be a trend at this place. Def won’t be back.Drove 45 minutes after a 12 hour retail shift on Black Friday weekend to be told “that’s not what you ordered.” No apology, attempt, or offer to make the correct order, just a refund receipt to stare at while my party ate their orders. 3 stars because the manager and staff were at least nice.
My family dined here for the first time last night. I ordered a pizza, my wife ordered the lasagna, and my kids had the mac and cheese. The lasagna was brought out in about 3min. It was cold and significantly undercooked (crunchy pasta). My kid's mac and cheese came out about 5 minutes later. Thankfully, it was hot. About 5 minutes later my pizza came out, also hot. I'm a bit perplexed as to why our food wasn't brought out at the same time. I've noticed others have had similar experiences.I told the waitress (food runner?) about the lasagna, and she said she'd talk to the manager. Several minutes later a guy comes over and acknowledges our complaint. Instead of replacing it, he said he gave us a refund on it. We didn't want a refund. We wanted a hot meal to eat.The food itself was nothing great. Definitely better options in the area.
We had a great time! Pizza is so good my wife got the meatball panini and it was incredible. Fairly priced, great service. The oven baked cookie is literally to die for! Thanks sauce!
Awesome food and service. Came in on a Friday for pasta and pizza. Definitely try the meatballs. They are amazing! Price is really good to for what you get. I will definitely be back.
We used to be big fans of Sauce in Prosper, but the past three times we’ve come we’ve had the worst service of any place in all of DFW. So sad to see a place lose all of its goodness due to no management:The last three times we’ve been here we’ve waited over 45 mins between the time the first plate is served to when the last dish is brought to us. (We have a family of six but our orders are never anything outside of normal menu items.)We thought maybe the last two visits were just “one offs”, but this has now happened on three occasions that the restaurant wasn’t even busy.Today we arrived at 1pm and every table was dirty. Understandable after a Sunday rush, but the person who cleaned the tables just used a soaking rag and left them soaked and still dirty. I came behind her and cleaned them using napkins. We witnessed nearly all the employees were wiping their noses and faces with their hands, not washing them, and using their cell phones. It is 2:19 and my salad just got delivered. We had a pizza delivered almost an hour ago to our table.Sad to see a restaurant in Prosper go so downhill in such a short time.
A different place where it could be good to hang out BUT . . . our pizza was a "white" pizza which means there was no sauce of any kind on it!! The cheese was sparse, the figs few and far between. It was all covered with a mountain of fresh arugula. If I had made it I would have wanted to cover it up too.
Food is incredible and the staff was freaking awesome. This was a fantastic experience!! We will be back for sure!
