Website and signs say open till 8pm, and this is the second time I’ve gone in around 7pm and the workers have already put up the pans of meat!! They need to honor the hours of operation.
I stop here periodically when I'm in area and I have noticed a pretty high turnover.Recently they got some new employees who really seem to care about their jobs and the customer and their quality has improved drastically. A few months ago I might have given a 3 star review. One in particular, Shanon, is exceptionally hard working (and entertaining, lol) and I wish some of my employees were so dedicated.Definitely my go to place when I'm working in the area.
1) Staff your location properly. I understand it costs money, but it costs more to have bad reviews and customers walking out or never returning. Spend a penny to make a dollar.2) I understand you may be short-staffed, but at least move like you have a job you were hired to do.3) When there's a line, do a lot less turning and talking and a lot more working. Not everyone did this, but half the staff did and the other half was just... so slow.4) Set a limit on in-store orders. If someone walks into the store and orders 50 tacos on the spot, either MOVE LIKE SOMEONE JUST ORDERED 50 TACOS or tell them it will be ready in an hour. It's not difficult.5) Adding onto that last one, don't pull people who are in the back of the line to the front of the line ahead of the six other people who were waiting.6) Prep prep prep. Too many bins were missing their food. I understand making it fresh, but don't let it run out before you make more. That's just sloppy.I've managed a Taco Bell, Taco Cabana, and a gas station and I have NEVER seen such a horribly run location, except maybe the Sonic in Prosper. It would take one competent manager to identify weak points and bolster them. It's a real shame, too, because it was word-of-mouth praise that led me here to begin with. Wish I could praise the food, but I have no idea what it tastes like. After being next in line for 10 minutes and then having you pull someone you know from the back to the front of the line so they can order literally 50 tacos while you all move slowly and talk, I decided to just get breakfast at Taco Bell instead.
When the manager is there it runs smoothly and they have everything available. The food is fresh and delicious. But………When she isn’t there it is terrible. I see 2 ppl standing around while 1 employee will work their butt off. Was there for breakfast before 10am and they are using the grill for lunch prep. They were out of bacon and egg so I ordered egg and potato. Got home and the taco had opened in the bag, had grease all over my leather seats and all the contents fell out when I went to open the brown bag. I like the place, I wish it wasn’t such a hit or miss.
Absolutely awful. I waited 15 minutes in line while the employees stood there and laughed with each other... never even acknowledged I was there. Even they did I ordered the Carne Asada and chips and salsa. The Carne was watery and looked unhealthy. The "Salsa" was just red water. I never leave negative reviews but this place needs to be avoided like the plague. Oh and when my food was done he bagged it up and literally threw it towards me. Who does that?
I was hyped up once I saw the place and it was my first time. They tried to charge me $44 dollars for 4 tacos with just meat and I have a little experience on pronouncing the meats.. the employees asked me what it was called. Horrible staff for that area. My dog wouldn’t even eat the food displayed in that store. Seems like it’s been sitting since this morning. Please hire new staff, because it’s making the name look bad.
They just don’t care and it has become progressively worse. Today at 7:00 am they had eggs with veggies only. It’s 3 hours before lunch is served. Make more! Very unreliable so I’m no longer going. The coffee in the 7-11 is bad too. I think they need to clean the machine or perhaps they are putting dark roast beans in the house blend tray.
Was super excited there was a gas station/ taco place near me. The employees obviously have zero training. Asked for something that’s on the menu and he had no idea what I was talking about. Work space is messy. There is zero flow. They are slow as Christmas. This is no dig at anyone working there, this is all just very poor ownership and management. Come on do better.
I cane here to order a few tacos and maybe some chips & salsa. I asked for corn tortillas, but they were frozen solid. So, I got flour and decided on Carnitas and Picadillo. The tacos were so large, they were like burritos. So, I asked for guacamole and sour cream. They put enormous slabs on my tacos and only when I checked out did they disclose they were $1/ea to add to the tacos. So, for 3 tacos I paid $16.02, and had to buy a soft drink and corn chips from 7-11, which is adjacent. While eating the Carnitas, i noticed there was way too much sour cream and the pork was chunky, not shredded. I then tried the Picadillo...which was okay, but again there was too much sour cream. Long story short, the tacos here aren't that good, the condiments are pricey and the overall value is low for the price you pay. I honestly don't recommend this place and I'm not going to return.
Best tacos around. Shout out to the manager (without help) this morning. She is amazing. I had a big order and a line of people behind me and she kept her cool. I could see her big smile behind her mask. She's AMAZING!! Not sure what your name is but, YOU GO GIRL!!!!
