Had an oyster po-boy and fries. Both were good, po-boy a bit small with 3 oysters, (about the size of large dates). Oysters were very fresh. The mealwas enough to get full thanks to the fries and with a small drink the cost was an even $10. The menu is mostly fried seafood and chicken with a whiteboard listing a grilled fish menu and some imaginative combinations. Service is prompt and friendly. The dining space consists of plastic booths, a tv was showing some sports event, and the place was reasonably clean and the restroom was very clean. Fountain drinks and tea are available with free refills. Don’t expect any ambiance here inside the dining room and the location is in a bit of a sketchy part of town. I hope the owner has success with her business, it seems like she tries hard and serves fresh and well prepared food. I’d rate it a 3.5 overall, keep in mind a po-boy sandwich doesn’t exactly give the chef much room for creativity!
Motorcyle Club Next to Kin stopped in to grab a bite before the Mardi Gras Parade. The service, atmosphere and food were great. Had a large group but we didn't have to wait long for our food. If you're ever kn Port Arthur stop by you won't be disappointed.
