Stopped here on our way home from the beach looking to try somewhere new for breakfast. The plate I ordered came with 2 eggs, 2 bacon and two slices of “French toast” which consisted of two pieces of bread that had been put on the griddle WITHOUT any egg wash on it, so was just grilled toast with powdered sugar and cinnamon on it. I didn’t eat that bread. I paid $13 for a breakfast and walked out hungry. Also had to ask the waitress for our ticket, and 6 minutes later she walks by our table and says ticket, and 3 minutes later we finally got it. Overall could have been a better experience, but I will not go out of my way to give this place another shot. French toast is universal, and if you offer it on your menu you should probably know how to prepare it.
First time at Kimmy's Cafe. Was staying in the area and found the Cafe on Tripadvisor. Staff was prompt. Coffee was hot. Pancakes, eggs and bacon hit the spot. Portion size was more than adequate. I will eat there again when I am in the area.
Staff was great but restaurant was cold, food was cool and neither my wife or I cared much for it flavor or texture. We both had breakfast. And it was more for 2 traditional breakfast than out Steak dinners the night before
Fantastic food, super good. My boyfriend got the chicken and waffles. Service was wonderful and everything was perfect. Couldn’t have picked a better breakfast spot, probably the best breakfast I’ve ever had.
I love their coffee cups first and foremost! Plus they serve Community Coffee, my ?, and they have everything everyone could like in their regular cup of coffee. Not only that, they offer specialty coffees, drinks, and smoothies.This place is amazing and I can't believe it took me so long to try it?. At first glance to the menu I will say it looks a little much, but when you get your plate with honestly a double portion (hence the feel of double $) and a quality and taste that is out of this ? delicious YOU WILL WANT TO COME BACK!
The wait is worth it. The food was great & so was the service. Our waitress was amazing. Super friendly.
The food is insanely good at Kimmy’s Cafe! They have a ton of unique options, exceptional service, and good portion sizes. We got the beef tips (always outstanding), the deluxe omelet (pot roast, bacon, ham, sausage, cheese and peppers), and the strawberry crepe. All were delicious!
Discovered Kimmy's back in August when visiting family so of course since we were in town again thought we would come again. This time around was TERRIBLE! Our name was crossed off the list other's were seated before us even when one familysaidthat we were here before them waitress said we could wait! Waited 7 mins before asked about drinks 10 mins before order was taken..didn't get coffee until food arrived..meat tasted freezer burned ..never got ANY REFILLS ON DRINKS! Sat with hand raised and waitresses kept walking past me. Horrible will never come here again!
Tomatillo chilaquiles were perfect! You can ask for fresh jalapeños on top if you like spicy food. Tomatillo sauce was really tasty, without the fresh jalapeño it wouldn’t have been spicy. The house potatoes were perfectly seasoned, and tasted so good! Coffee was good too, will definitely be back
DO NOT GO HERE. Who ever they have at the drive thru is definitely not someone who want to be there they are unpleasant to talk to. Got my order wrong when I got home and it was a mess all over the place I don’t think I will be back.
