I used to love going to this place however when I went back today it will be my last time. The veggies was all cabbage a 1/3 size broccoli floret and 2 small pieces of mushroom. They even watered down the sauces.Very sad it was one of my favorite places to go eat

Staff was nice and accommodating, but the food was mid at best. Broth had little to no flavor and portion size was very small. Shrimp tempura was a no. Tip is automatically included on every bill, 18%, regardless of party size. Paid almost $90 for two people just to leave hungry and unsatisfied. 3 stars only for the kind service.

First time experience. With a vegetarian member of the family, this probably wasn't the best choice. The service was fantastic. They really tried their best to add little extra vegetables and tofu. I was very thankful for them trying. It was interesting and different. The food was good. Since I'm not the greatest cook and you have to cook the food yourself, I probably didn't do the best on the udon. Vegetables were good and fresh-ish. They do put them in the fridge ahead of time, so I can see some people complain about that. Got some cooked tofu thing(?) and it was really good. I recommend everyone giving this experience and place a try. With non-meat eaters, it may not be the best choice. Cool place with great service and we'll probably be back again. Thanks.

We were new to everything and the asian guy here really helped out alot.He mixed some stuff and upgraded our sauces. It tasted so good and we had a good experience. The music was also nice. Perfect place for a date

Awful experience. Vegetables were cracked dry like they had been sitting in that fridge for days, rice was HARD and DRY, took 20 minutes for us to get fountain drinks, the portions are laughably stingy. The little flavor there is is far from authentic-could have cooked a better dinner at home. Service was poor to say the least (had to flag people down, no one came to check on us). And if you're that understaffed, don't be willing to take peoples money then. Complete waste. We went somewhere to get dinner afterwards.

Not impressed with paying >$100 for precut thick pieces of A5 Wagyu for shabu shabu (which I had to spit out because they cut it so thick but still had to pay for). They ended up replacing it with the prime rib Wagyu but the taste is NOT the same. No Bueno. I can't support this restaurant and their gross quality of A5 Wagyu anymore.

Prices are a little high but the selection is really good. We enjoyed the meat selection and cooking the food. All the sauces and seasonings were top notch as well.

Service was not as good at Plano location as it is at Richardson location. Seemed like a younger group that didn’t know how to deal with a busy restaurant..

The food is good. But they recently hiked the price up out of no where. You used to be able to get a two meat combo for 16$. Now you pay $7+ a la carte per meat +$8 for the basic starter set of veggies/rice/sauces + now $2 for noodles with your soup. Plus they are now adding an automatic 18% gratuity to every bill. We usually tip this or more anyways but I've never seen this automatically added since tipping should be based on service. Overall the food is good and we used to really like this place, but their new menu prices are unjustified for what you're getting. There are similar places for better bang for your buck!

Yoshi used to be a great dining experience but unfortunately the service is not what it used to be.Although it only took a few minutes to be seated the server didn’t show up until 15 minutes later. The restaurant was busy and the server was polite but the ambiance has changed. Unfortunately I will not return. Please go back to the old way when you first opened. I dined at the Plano location.
