Heard about this Asian restaurant from a friend. Decided to try it today with hubby. The decor was nicely appointed overall as chinese (?) restaurants go. The lighting however, was more than dim should ever be. Downright dark. Had to use my cell phone flashlight to be able to even see the menu. Irritating. The waitress who came over and was very curt, seemed annoyed. She was not interested in any polite chatter at all. She was all business, "tell me what you want and I'll go get it" style...funny but yet not so when you're paying these kind of prices.Speaking of prices, we were there around 1-ish but the prices were more like dinner time prices.Hubby and I being new to the place chose something familiar. He chose *chicken fried rice. I selected *assorted meat fried rice. Both of us upon tasting the rice we were less than impressed. The rice was overly greasy, and bland and starchy tasting. The meat , chicken, beef were of a mushy spongy texture..I only ate about 1/4 of my full dish, trying with each bite to enjoy it..but couldn't. Needless to say I didn't take any of it home.I have to say as I mentioned before for the prices they are asking, it should have been 5* fare to say the least..but sadly it wasn't.*This review is solely based on the dishes we chose this day. I cannot speak for the other dishes that are offered here. However, being a native NYKer, the most basic dish 'fried rice' should have been phenomenal at those prices!!! I know GOOD CHINESE!!On to looking for a good chinese restaurant.

Ordered over $100 worth of takeout for 5 people and was really disappointed. The food was overwhelmingly average at best: the mongolian beef was pretty good, aside from that, the five star shrimp was pretty much entirely bread crumbs, we were supposed to get pork buns, but instead were given some other pork dish we didn't order- it was tough and unflavorful. The fried rice was awful- pretty much just white rice with a sprinkle of soy.We were not impressed with anything we ordered and the biggest kick in the face is the fact that practically every dish was $20-30.Overall would not recommend, which is disappointing considering I've enjoyed their food in the past. What changed?

Mother’s Day lunch for my mom. It was nice and quiet. Seating was nice. Food was good. We went on Saturday and we couldn’t get lunch portions, we had left overs. Food was hot and tasty.

The food here is good. I enjoy the hot and sour soup and the General Yao's chicken. It's not very spicy, but it usually isn't, at least not for me. The curry calamari appetizer is very good and although I usually say things need a sauce, this one didn't need a sauce. It comes over fried rice noodles which are also very good. It can be kind of pricey, but the interior of the restaurant is pretty and the staff are very attentive.

Do not, and I repeat do not, make a reservation through OpenTable. You will not get your 100 points. The restaurant insists they are now on Resy reservation. Very rude host.

Some of the best Chinese food in North Texas. It is a little pricey but delicious.

Always delicious and impeccable service.

Our server ignored us after we finished eating and didn’t ask whether we wanted dessert. She brought a bill and seemed surprised that we wanted dessert. The food was delicious.

Another evening of great food and wine.

As usual, the food was outstanding. The best Chinese food in DFW.
