Meat on Afghan style lamb kabob platter was flavorful, but My honest opinion it was over priced for $17 all you get a few small pieces of chewy lamb kabob on a oversize pita bread no salad, no sides.I really wonder why do they even call it a platter? It was my first time there so I asked the lady in the counter What does she suggest? She just pointed me to the menu.People without minimum customer service skills (simple greet or a smile) should not work at the front end of a restaurant.

Being a non-native can be challenging, lady at counter didnt seem to care very much if i wanted to stay or go. But stay i did since i was hungry and wanted some kebabs. Ordered Afghani style lamb kebab platter which was slightly disappointing since it came with the huge metal skewers and a slab of bread underneath. Parts of the bread was hard and tough to chew and swallow. Couple of the skewers were more fat and gristle than meat. The wings themselves did not taste very fresh, meat was gummy and pasty and maybe it was the tandoor style i ordered. If you want some onions, cucumbers etc with your meal, skip the afghani style.

Food is absolutely delicious. If you’re looking for a good authentic afghan food in DFW area you must visit this place.

This place is small yet amazing food.. we loved chicken tikka kabobs.. also we had ordered tandoori chicken wings and those were good too.. and at the end ordered green tea and guess what it was amazing ..definitely must try ..

It’s a wastage of time to come here. You need to know Afghani language to get minimum decent service. The lady at the front doesn’t have any concept of customer service.Food is over priced. We ordered wrap and platter. Instead of Naan, they gave tortillas but extremely cold. We had to return the food due to cold tortillas. Literally they didn’t warm or bake the Naan or tortillas. They should be prosecuted for deception. When they returned our food, it was still cold tortillas. Food is NOT GOOD AT ALL.Only four pieces of very very small meat in the wrap. What a cheater.NEVER EVER COMING TO THIS PLACE.

If you are not from Afghanistan, you are not supposed to be here, because they will treat Afghani people first no matter how early you place your order, you probably can have your food when people who placed the order much behind you finished their meal, and the lady was like you are begging for the food even though you paid over priced. So welcome here if you don't care there is no even minimum respect, and you would like to waste your money.I would like to give them negative stars instead of 1 star if possible.

I never, ever give one star reviews, you really have to mess up to get a two star review let alone a one star. This place was the worst food experience of my life. I am not saying that lightly.. Thought about it before typing that. I had severe diarrhea from eating burritos from a dude who sold them on his bike, and I still bought them several more times, as the burritos were delicious. So for me to Give a one star... Anyways the story.I ordered a chicken and a beef wrap. The mostly pleasant woman took my order 7 dollar chicken and 8 dollar beef wrap, with tip over 20 bucks for two wraps.. Ok not a prob, picturing the smokey meat and delicious toppings should make it worth it? My wife was on her break and we had 30 mins before she had to be back to work. About 10 min later, I am checking my watch... I AM THE ONLY CUSTOMER BY THE WAY... 20 mins later, ok. See woman and ask her if my wrap will be ready.. She says "Its all made from scratch and to order, but soon"... Fine... 30+ mins and foods ready I rush out door and give wife food she yells at me for taking so long..HERE IS WHERE THE FUN BEGINS... I take the beef wrap and she takes the chicken and runs into her work. I am driving home and take a bite. The wrap itself was fine, Middle Eastern flatbread with flour on outside.. The beef was wet with no char and extremally chewy. The veg was Costco spring mix and huge chunks of tomato and cucumber, maybe a carrot... THE SAUCE, I S**T YOU NOT, WAS LIKE NEWMANS OWN ITALIAN FAT FREE DRESSING!!! If I asked my 9 year old to make me a wrap with the same ingredients, it would TASTE BETTER, he would at least cut the grizz!!!!! She said its hand made from scratch. I swear the meat was microwaved had to be.. 30 F***ing minuets... 30!!! For a wrap that was smaller and hands ... hands down worse than McDonalds old wraps they used to sell. What a clown world joke. The few maybe for chunks of wet non charred meat, was full of grizz to top it off. My god, I felt like I was on a pranked show. Maybe I was not the clientele they give service to.. I don't know. I would eat 1000 diareeah bike dude burritos before ever coming near this place. Also STINKS bad, at first I was like.. well, when I lived in Bahrain many restaurants had unique smells. I hope I ate beef. Good God what a absolute train wreck.

The food was much superior than other places purporting to offer similar cuisine. Even the extra effort with plating was an indicator that the restaurant has a limited menu but does a good job in delighting the patrons. The kitchen is well staffed but the dining area could benefit from an extra pair of hands. The Qabli Pulau was everything as expected but the lamb could've been a tad bit slow cooked for another 30 mins. The rice was fresh but had absorbed the "aroma" of the lamb instead of offering its own fragrance. The Beef Kobideh was excellent but the flame treatment was not equal on both sides. The portion was generous. The rice too was an example of the higher culinary standards being practiced. Most customers pay before being served! No offense intended by the management in this modus operandi.

Qabli dish and chicken tandoori wings were really good. The staff were nice and the dining area was clean. Overall i like the resturant and i’d come back.

I thought the Humus was good and the naan looked incredible and tasted good. I also had the Spicy wings - they weren't very hot to me (I like hot) but the sauce was very tasty so I would recommend trying them. I also had the tandoori wings which were good but I've had better tandoori. I might have gone to a 4 if the wings could have been ordered crispy (maybe they can?). They bake the wings and they were a little too fatty for me. I would recommend trying them out if you want to try something different.
