It’s the day shift employees that make this the best! They are the friendliest, makes sure everything is perfect - even at their busiest. Great crew, both servers and cooks/chefs - except for the one server that can’t stay in the restaurant and get completed food order delivered to her table, didn’t check on us one time, never said a word except a few mumbles, we knew menu better than she did - need I say more?
I went in with my companion, a disabled Vietnam Veteran, at about midnight on May 29. We had just spent four hours at the Veterans Hospital ER and were hungry. The three booths were occupied as well as all the tall stools except for two. Chairs were strung out semi blocking the tables. My companion cannot use a booth or a tall stool. He needs a table and chair. The cook shouted out that area was closed. "That's why we put the chairs like that!" I said he's disabled, he can't sit in the bar stools. They didn't care. I asked why the server couldn't walk to the tables to serve us. They didn't care about the loss of business, they had no intention of accommodating a disabled vet. So we left. We won't ever return. As we were leaving, another couple walked in, then another couple. I suppose they would have to just stand there, while half the restaurant remained unused. All because of a rude cook and a server who refused to walk out from behind the counter. Terrible service.
Sydnei is hands down one of the best cooks at WH. Food is always good and she is always fun to chat with.Leahana is always professional but does it with a smile and I enjoy chatting with her as well. When I make plans to go I plan to stay a bit. They always leave me smiling/laughing. Appreciate these ladies so much.
Sage was our server. She’s was very nice and held down the fort since they were short staffed. My partner and I enjoyed her a lot and this isn’t a review about her. However my biggest issue was the lipstick imprint I found on my coffee mug. Sage replaced the coffee mug but I was still skeptical about what else was dirty. Big red flag on cleanliness.
There are two reasons this WH is great and that is Sydnei and Devon. They are the hardest working employees there and always give 100%. I am loyal because of these two and they deserve a lot more recognition then they get. They are professional, respectful and friendly. Even on their off days they still give their best.

Been going to waffle house since i learned to walk. Some waffle houses you get a dinner and some you get a dinner and a show. Friendly staff quick food.
Destinee Was absolutely GREAT at being THE WORST SERVER EVER!! She was by far the worst service I’ve ever received.. She only provided service when she brought our food, aside from the constant reaching over my plate, her not wanting to take the orange juice off of the table because it was watered down, and taking long to refill coffee she was horrible. I usually like coming here because the food is better than in Garland but she was horrible!! Here’s a TIP: DO BETTER

I went for the first time last night and it was completely empty, perfect for me and my family. There were only two people working there, but they were very friendly and did their best to serve us our food at the best quality. They did so good, our waffles were so delicious and the eggs and bacon were good as well. Would definitely come again!
