We had good things about Velvet Taco so we decided to give it a try and....we are glad we did. This will be our new taco spot! We ordered via the QR code on the table. I ordered the Grilled Flank Steak taco, Mexi-cali Shrimp taco, and Spicy Tikka Chicken. My fiance ordered Picnic Chicken and Cuban Pig tacos. All were absolutely delicious! We also ordered theor queso and chips which was really good!
Two tacos were enough to fill me up. I had the Louisiana hot tofu and paneer. Both really hit the spot after a long climbing session. This location is 6 minutes from summit plano so don't sleep on it.

Unique take on tacos, went with different than traditional such as cauliflower and chicken & waffle. Recommend sticking to some of the traditional fillings instead. Taste for those were off the mark on taste for me but I'll try again with meats. Tater tots with egg was surprisingly good though. Will return to try again.
Very enjoyable fast casual dining and vegan friendly! None of the items were explicitly vegan but there were 4 vegetarian tacos to choose from where only minor substitutions were needed.We tried each one of 4 vegetarian tacos - removing the crema and adding avocado. Our favorite was the beer battered cauliflower absolutely delicious ?
These tacos were out of this world. The Salmon Taco was amazing. Check them out when you are in Plano Texas.
One of the best original curated speciality tacos. Love the Chicken tikka especially, a must try. It can take a while to get your order but most of the times it’s worth the wait. We also enjoyed the Nashville Tofu taco as well, a good flavourful option for Veggie lovers.
The flavors blew my mind. We were visiting from NY and decided to try out Velvet Taco because it was recommended to us. We ended up trying a the vegetarian tacos and each one was unique and delicious. My favorite was the beer battered cauliflower.
The food is always different and unique as well as the ordering the food but that’s OK. I have my reasons for four stars but I still really like Velvet Taco. My 3rd location to visit as I show property. I added the menu. Good stuff!
