Burgers were good, cooked very medium, buns were fresh. No freezers advertised which means very fresh food. If you like pickles this is your place, see picture. Worth a try.
good burgers and drinks ??
Loved Mike. He’s a great asset to Twisted Root! Really enjoyed our lunch.
Love this place for their vegan option, the Vegabond, which they've started adding picked onions to recently. Douse that in their spicy mustard and you're golden. Fries are really good, unlimited pickles, and a full bar at the Plano location. Four stars because I'd love to be able to eat their fried pickles, which can easily be made vegan.
Food was very bland, I got the mushroom burger. Had no taste. Had to put tons of chipotle ranch on it for it to taste better. I wanted to come here so bad to try it because I saw it on diners drive ins and dives, but this was a huge let down. Plus there are FlIES EVERYWHERE! I couldn't even eat my good without one landing on me or my cup. Fountain drinks suck! My husband wanted to go to smash Burger to begin with......I should have listed to him. They are WAY better than this place. In the pictures you can see the flies. On the ketchup bottle and napkins. ?? We will not be coming back!
This place is great! Fun atmosphere, meme style art everywhere, pretty funny, but most importantly the burger I had was delicious! It was the LOTS-A-SHROOM burger. I ordered it with fried pickle chips. 100% recommend it!
It is so hip and cool looking inside. Definitely a fun place to bring friends. Pricing is fair for the experience and food you are getting. Food comes fast and hot! If you've never been to a twisted root I would go just for the pickle barrels where you serve yourself with craft pickles! Try it out y'all it won't disappoint.
It was our 1st time coming here. My daughter chose the place for Mother’s Day. We all got different burgers. They were all delicious. My daughter loves pickles. They had lots of pickles to get. I highly recommend this place for burgers and fries.
Easy 5 stars! Came in on a late Friday night for the first time and immediately felt comfortable. I’d recommend outside seating if weather permits! Lots of outdoor games and fun music playing. Dogs are allowed outside too which is fun! The food itself hit the spot and I’d recommend the Big Tex burger with fries. The burger was a big portion, but not so much that you can’t eat it easily if ya know what I mean?? We will be back for sure!
Patrick the bartender performed admirably and was friendly. The salad ordered, "what the kale" had no cabbage as described, but came with tomatoes (not a listed ingredient) of which my wife is allergic. The pizza was marginal at best. In an effort to make it right after payment, I was provided two $5.00 discount cards (to be used separately). The burger was warm and was tasty although completely soggy and lacked the mushrooms as described on the menu. I wanted to like this place more than I did. I'll not return.
