Overcooked, small portions, poor quality expensive Hibachi. The sushi here is better than the Hibachi. We had 4 people all dissatisfied with their Hibachi meals.

Great, local, family-owned business. Owners are friendly and the food is delicious. It can be hard to find good sushi in a land-locked city, but this place absolutely delivers... would 100% recommend if you're looking to support a local small business!

The waitress was really nice and the sushi melted in your mouth it was so fresh! The pricing was pretty average.

MY SON HAS BEEN GOING THERE SINCE 11TH GRADE. TEARS . HE IS NOW 23 N TOOK ME THERE , HIS MOMMA . ACTUALLY SAW GRADE SCHOOL FRIEND TOO . DELISH, FRESH N FAB . MARY IS LOVELY .

Used to love this place. Last two orders from door dash were HORRENDOUS. Chicken as dry as shoe leather. Scallops this time still had sand. Plus both times ignored request for no mushrooms (person ordering is allergic).

First it is advertised as a Hibachi Grill. It is not. There is no Hibachi in this restaurant. They cook everything on a flat top behind a glass window. Their was 4 of us. Two got their food and one order was not correct, than another order came out 10 minute later and they forgot the 4 order. They rushed to complete it but it wasn't a good dining experience. Food was cold as well.

You know it's good when you can't stop saying mmmm MMMMM! The entire time you are eating dinner. I love this place so much. I highly recommend that you eat here.

Utterly disappointing is one way to summarize my experience. I ordered delivery, so perhaps in-person dining would be a better experience, but based upon the delivery experience I'm not willing to give it a shot.I ordered their "eggrolls" and received spring rolls. Tomoya is not unique in this regard, it seems to plague the DFW metro area where restaurants conflate the two. I would not have ordered them if I knew they were spring rolls, and even as spring rolls they were overly greasy. The hibachi chicken and shrimp unfortunately fell flat. I asked for no mushrooms and that was ignored, the fried rice which I paid $1.50 extra for was a tiny scoop, the shrimp were around U60 size and there were only about five of them, and the chicken was overcooked. The dish lacked flavor and was very disappointing. I figured paying $23.50 would get me a decent portion, but I was still hungry after finishing the meager portion.

The sushi was all bad, spicy tuna roll was absolutely disgusting…but the miso soup was not hearty but good

Delicious sushi and fried rice. This is the perfect spot for a chill and quiet dinner with your date.
