I've never been to a place that sells gyros that has their lamb meat in a ground meat form. I even asked him about this and he said they used ground meat--even though the pictures on the outside of the restaurant have the traditional gyro mean in a pita! What is up with that? The meat was not good, and the guy who took my order looked confused when I asked for a lamb gyro with fries. Upon further inspection of the menu, the only thing on the menu that has the word 'Gyro' in it is 'Gyro Fries' (whatever that is). They ought to change the name of this place from 'The gyro shop' to something else. The finished product was somewhat edible, but it tasted nothing like any Gyro I've ever had. You also have to pick your own ingredients, and I made the mistake of asking for Feta for an additional $2 I found out. So what I ended up with was a sandwich with ground lamb meat, fries and a coke for $17.49. Never again.
Decent gyro shop, tried lamb/chicken over rice and chicken over rice, both are good. Rice wasn't as flavorful as other places and the toppings are limited. We were told the hot sauce will be super spicy, it wasn't in reality.Meat quality was good and portion was good too.
Loved the gyro shop, but noticing their quantity is going downhill and the prices are going up. Remember when I used to go there when they first opened, they would give a heaping amount of food to the point where the lid had to be pressed down to close. Now, its almost half full. Also, one of my platter had like 4 pieces of diced cucumber. Not pleased with my visit
I am a big time foodie and like to experience new places all the time. Unwelcoming atmosphere here!!If you can't even smile or say hello to your customers who make an effort to spend their hard earned money at your eatery then you shouldn't be in food service industry! There were zero efforts to communicate let alone smile!! On top of that whats up with "stingy portion of food?!" the quantity of rice is so less on top of that its a small plate. One customer literally told him to add more meat but he reluctantly add tiny bit of it. STOP deluding us by using "add more salad to make it look like full plate" technique!! Be honest and genuine if you really want your business to be successful!!!Juice glass is very tiny as per American standards... (if you don't have the grit to serve proper portions as per American standard then why even bother running a food business?) I bet they waste more food then serving customers.If you want to dump your money for appetizer only then by all means go. Don't expect to leave full stomach. I'm utterly disappointed and would never visit this place again unless they take drastic measures to change and open their hearts to serve sizeable portions like others do!!!
Ate at the Frisco location this past weekend, the food was phenomenal! Will definitely be going back!
Food was decent, but horrible customer service. I will never return here again. Immediately after my friend and I ordered food and after we had paid, we were then charged for a order of fries separately that we just placed an order for and said we weren’t charged previously which was fine. We specifically asked for an extra pita twice and verbally confirmed. Then, after I said I no longer wanted a pita bread, they proceeded to try to charge for one. I asked for ketchup and was ignored by an employee intentionally. Then asked another person and he threw the ketchup at my hand with an attitude. I have never felt so disrespected in my life ordering food.
The food here is amazing! I always get the gyro or chicken salads & they are always fresh and delicious. Their juices are my favorite too, so fresh and nutritious but actually taste great too.
My daughter Ordered the LAMB gyro fry bowl and received NO LAMB! So disappointed in the Plano location! I definitely do NOT recommend!
Best gyro! Very tasty and always fresh! My fav is combo with rice! Kids love it too. They crave their gyro every weekend for movie night. We also love their Chapli kabobs! It is a MUST TRY!! veryy delicious and authentic taste!
These guys are amazing here! I try to go weekly because it's that good! Delicious food and quick service, you guys deserve a raise for having great customer service!!
