Good food and great drinks!There is no host/hostess so find your own table and wait to be served, unlike my blind self who didn't read the sign and waiting for a good 10 minutes at the front until I noticed the sign lol.This place has a fun atmosphere!
My first visit to Plano Downtown was a surprise, I found a very nice street with several options of restaurants and bars. I didn't stay long at The Fillmore Pub, but enough to be super well attended and drink two very cold beers. The environment is very cool.
This place is definitely a local hangout, in the best possible way. I people watched multiple groups of people who had obviously been there before. The vibe was really fun and I spoke to several of the staff while there and they were all very friendly and welcoming. There are some interesting beer and cocktail options too. If I lived closer I could definitely coming around often to this place.
Good food good drinks. Service while sitting at the bar was good. Food came out fast and hot.It has its share of regulars but we didn't feel like we were ignored. Some places can give you a cold shoulder feel if you are not a regular or long time customer. Definitely was not an issue we encountered.We will definitely be back.
Went on a Friday night and had a great time! Bartending staff was very lively and great beer/cocktail drink selection.Vibe is really nice. I live in England and the atmosphere is pretty accurate to English neighborhood pubs. Relaxed atmosphere, humming but was not too crowded. Like that they had some card games and darts. Great place to hang with friends!
My 19 year old daughter, my husband and I went The Filmore Pub at 8.45 pm and took a table outside. It was during the week and not crowded. After 15 min waiting, finally a waitress came to our table to take orders. My husband and I ordered beer and sliders. My daughter didn't have her id with her and she ordered a glass of water. But waitress told us that she shouldn't have been there after 9 pm due to city ordinance and kindly told us to leave. Btw, when we were leaving, we passed by another family which was already served and enjoying their food with their little kids. I gave 2 stars for the previous nice experiences.
We really like grabbing a drink and hanging out on the patio here. However, the last four visits we’ve had here the waitresses/bartenders have been inattentive and do not get our orders correct (having to come back and verify and even getting them completely wrong still). Compared to other drinks in the downtown area, some at lower prices, the pours are very conservative.Examples: I ordered my hummus plate with no cucumbers and no onions. I got my plate with onions on it. Ugh.The same order had a burger with lettuce and tomato and we got a burger with lettuce and onions. Ugh again.While we like sitting outside, we have to constantly go inside to find a waitress or get help.I’m sure we’ll be back to sit on the patio but we know what we’re in for. ::shrug::
Staff are fast and friendly! Unbelievably tasty flat-iron steak frites (medium-rare). Reasonably priced food and drinks, great atmosphere!
Great place and fun atmosphere
I don't drink alcoholic beverages, but I had a meeting there. The service and the food were very good. The atmosphere of the pub was the right balance of light and dark. Cozy, but not dank. I would go back.
