Good ambience and good food. Christopher was awesome and on top of things.
Worst lasagna Iâve ever tested- just a blob of cheese. De Mare special was horrible- I tiny piece of lobster tail, few chewy calamariâs and not much else - mostly spaghetti for $38.
Taverna has been my âgo toâ place Dr a long time. Yesterday I dined with 2 friends (1 of whom was there 2 days before) & our favorite salad is totally different. It was hardly worth eating. Such a disappointment. My previous rave reviews still are accurate for the dates mentioned. Hopefully this was an aberration; however, the server said they had âchanged the saladâ but she wasnât clear exactly how.
Daniel was wonderful. The food and drinks are superb!
Nice restaurant. Would go again. The meatballs are good and the mimosas are $3 during brunch on Saturday and Sunday.
Taverna is a comfortable place, we came here for brunch and enjoyed it.Service was really good, we were served by Honorio who was very accommodating and helpful.Food was good, by far not the best Italian we have had in Dallas (or Legacy West even) but sill tasty and good portions. My salmon seemed just a tiny bit undercooked but not enough the complain or send it back.The place is comfortable, even the patio area was well ventilated considering how hot it has been. We had enough space for a baby stroller as requested in our reservation which is greatly appreciated.Overall it is a good place if you are in the area but I do believe there are other better options in Legacy West.
Another great experience
We were sat in the patio area and there was a very large fan blowing full blast close to our table which we did not enjoy. Our server was available and attentive. The food was decent but not amazing
It was our anniversary. we asked for our favorite table by the door and they had it reserved for us when we arrived. Maria was our waitress again. She is extremely efficient, nice and fun to be around. They surprised us with tiramasu as an anniversary gift. It's one of our favoirte resturants and they came through again. Thanks y'all :)
