Food and service were always great here. Visit less now after we moved.Prices may be a bit high but worth it. Their drunken noodles with beef was one of the best in this area.Will recommend.
Went here several months ago with a friend to dine in and food was so good I decided to order it again but takeout this time. I ordered the Sweet and Sour Fish which is pictured below and for $18.95, this was the tiniest and thinnest fish I have ever seen. The other foods ordered were fine, a little soggy but expected because it's takeout. Overall, the most expensive item ordered was the smallest portion. I honestly expected better considering my first great experience there.
I have tried Thai food in every city I visit. Taste of Thai Plano Texas has the best Pad Woon Sen I have ever eaten! Their spring roll sauce has more flavor than anywhere else I have been. Portions are huge.
We had already dug in when i took the pics. My bad. I got the Pad Thai lv. 4 heat, Pad Woon-Sen lv. 4 heat, and the combination fried rice. On the heat scale it wasnt spicy but i know spice is relevant. Level 4 is equivalent to hot cheetos level spice if i had to gage it. All plates were packed with the protien of choice mine was chicken. Each dish could easily feed 2 people. Most Pad Thai I've had is a bit on the dry side but these noodles were saucy. All the veg and chicken was covered with the sauce. The Pad Woon-Sen was also saucy and packed with noodles, veggies and chicken. One ove the best Pad Woon-Sens ive had, hands down. You like fried rice, do yourself the favor and get it. Most fried rice I've had is all rice and a bit of meat or veg here and there. Let me tell you, this fried rice had me asking were the rice was. I had beef/chicken or shrimp and veggies in every bite I took. Definitely the Thai place to go.
I was craving for Pad Thai and this place is great. Their menu has lots of options. They have different types of protein you can choose from (beef, chicken, duck, shrimp, scallops, seafood combinations, etc).I ordered a Pad Thai with scallops and it tastes amazing. The drunken noodles is super tasty, very flavorful. You can also choose the spiciness level from 1 to 5. The noodles also comes with a side of salad as well.I think their portion is huge. I can't barely finish mine, so I brought to work the next day for lunch. The atmosphere over here is warm and cozy. Staffs are friendly and attentive. The price is reasonable for that big amount of food.

What nice little surprise this place was! Service was friendly and efficient.Wine carafe was a great surprise, although not amazing, really elevated the experience! ☺️Lovely plating, and quaint ambiance.Takoyaki I would probably not get again but everything else was very good!The pad Thai, I got the level 5 spice. I’ll be honest, I didn’t find it to be spicy, but my dining companion did. It had a great taste nonetheless, and I ate my whole plate!The curry fried rice, was also packed with flavor. Very plentiful serving on both dishes.The surprise star of the show was the sticky rice with mango ice cream. I highly recommend you give it a try for yourself.The age old question, would I go back again? I can firmly answer a resounding yes, yes I would!
This place was amazing! The food was hot, fresh vegetables that are cooked tenderly with flavorful seasonings. The staff was friendly, as well on top of their game. My husband drinks a lot of water and they stayed on it keeping his vi topes off.This restaurant was worth the drive from Tarrant County :)
Food was pretty darn good, but not great. We've had better in so cal and Vegas. The mango chicken didn't have much chicken inside the fried breading. Pineapple fried rice was lacking in flavor and the pineapple wasn't very fresh so it didn't even taste like pineapple very much. We would probably come back to get food from here again because it's close by, but we will have to try other Thai places to find our "go-to" Thai spot.
Taste of Thai is definitely some of the best Thai food I have ever had - especially in the DFW area! The owners are so incredibly sweet & work so hard to provide the freshest, most delicious food. I’ve never had a less than stellar meal from here! Highly recommend, especially knowing that you’re supporting such kind people!
