We just went into the grocery store for some black curant preserves. I haven't been there in some time and was impressed with the change. The restaurant section has a very nice ambience now. We'll have to go back for dinner some time.
First of all huge portion, the plate for 2 was for 3 in my opinion. We were there mostly for the zurek, a white polish soup hard to find outside Poland. Zurek was very good, we liked pierogi and the kotlet was very very big. Sad that they didn’t have the makoviec, will be back. It did taste like authentic Polish food, for sure!
A group of four of us visited, we had never tried Polish food! The service was fast and the food was fantastic! There were plenty of recommendations from on what to get for the best experience and we had a blast. We will definitely be back!
I would like to say that we loved it too, but we ended up leaving hungry. I called a week before to make sure we could ear there, and I was told yes. After driving in from the southeast corner of Arkansas, they don't serve food on tuesTuesday. When i told the lady, ostensibly the owner, I was told that the kitchen was closed. I was deeply disappointed. We went somewhere for pierogi the next day. They were pretty good, but not what I had expected.
Excellent and authentic Polish food. A nice little gem in Plano. Even brought Poland Ball along to share in the Polish cuisine experience.
Super happy I found this place. The young lady who waited on us was very polite. Food was AMAZING I will definitely be back. I ordered the cheese and potato pierogi appetizer and they tasted just like my grandmas. Ordered a bunch of other food and it was delicious as well. Enjoy this gem.
Excellent Polish cuisine! My expectations - which were very high - were exceeded! Authentic, my friends loved all the dishes, great quality & so tasty. Delish. I’m going to start coming here most often, so glad I decided to come in after discovering it. Cute market inside too with many different items. A few days later, & we are still thinking about this cuisine!
Phenomenal delicious food! So happy we tried this place! Everything we ordered was so fresh, gourmet, delicious. They really went above & beyond. I’ve had Polish food in different cities, and this place is really the best! YUM! :)
Absolutely wonderful food, with such full and savory flavors, I have yet to find a restaurant that can compare to it's quality and portion size. If you order their Taste Of Poland sampler, (which I highly recommend to give you a great overview of the flavors) bring a friend or two to help you out with the plate. I only wish I could leave more than five stars. Also has a neat market attached the the restaurant with a good selection of foods and condiments from Europe.
According to my friend who has relatives from Poland, the food is good and authentic.The prices are a little above average, but for authentic Polish food I think it's worth it. They also have a small grocery store and deli inside! :)
