This place is boujee AF. From the outside it looks like any other hole in the wall taco place but you step inside and it’s pretty happening. I really like the atmosphere. The clientele is very diverse, primarily Latino but there are plenty of white and black customers when I’ve been there. The food in my opinion is very expensive (forgot to take a pic of the menu) and it’s just OK. There are plenty of taquerias nearby that have better food but aren’t as hip or as Americanized. The menu is in both English and Spanish and all the staff is truly bilingual so it’s much friendlier for non-Spanish speaker. It was almost $30 for some flautas, 2 barbacoa tacos and an order of elote (that was gross and I ended up not eating, elote is not hard to make or so I thought).
Updated ****We came on a Friday not so packed liked the Saturday we came. The tacos de fajita and Al pastor were sooo good. The rice didn’t have flavor . The shrimp tostada was ok. My son said the burrito was really good. Agua de horchata normal taste. I wished they cleaned tables after previous customers left. To me it seems a bit over priced for some of the portions on certain food items. I ended up paying like $54 ,Definitely recommend to try.
Definitely a cool place to go for tacos and there drinks are refreshing and the service that brings you your food is a badass robot that drops it off at your table. They also have treats you can buy to take home and snack on let's not forget about the mixed drinks they have available cause there tasty for sure and i had to try the melon water and rice water witch is called horchata.
I had chicken tacos, barbacoa tacos and pastor taco all the meats were tender and had good flavor. The potatoes that come with the tacos were very spicy but I kept eating them lol. And the carne asada fries is a must try. I can honestly say these are the best tacos I've had in Dallas.
really good food and good customer service.
Good food,kid friendly great service
Wonderful food, did wait a while to place our order but the food was pretty promptly delivered by the little robot. My chicken quesadilla was pretty good, but the wife's shrimp taco platter was great! I will be getting that for myself next time!
On a recent visit from out of town, my daughter brought me here. She made me drive 45 min. out of my way to get here b/c according to her this is the only place in the Dallas area with comparable (good) food to home (Chicago area) Here's my review:This place has a good atmosphere, great tasting food, and never-before-seen-by-ME table robotic food delivery! I was slightly amazed as were quite a few people who walked in. When it would sense people in front of it, it would stop. But really all that thing needed to do was say something quietly like, "Beep. Beep. Excuse me.Trying to deliver food." You have to see it to believe it if you've never experienced it before.I would've given 5 stars had we had a place to sit right away, but this locale is small-so you might have to wait if it's especially busy and you'd like to dine in. Other than that, Taqueria Los Angeles definitely deserves a visit.
Great local spot in East Plano. Glad to have finally made it in to check it out. Delicious quesadilla and burrito with super friendly counter service. Really nice decor and vibes inside - we will definitely be back!
