Our favorite. This place is always clean. The sashimi is always fresh. The cuts of fish in both the rolls and sashimi are generous. We always order the salmon roll, the Philadelphia roll, the eel and avocado, the crunch roll (crab and shrimp tempura), some miso soup and my favorite salmon sashimi. LOVE!I prefer takeout these days and date nights at home but if you dine there you can expect a dark, quiet, clean, intimate spot perfect for conversation. The folks running it are friendly and knowledgeable. ENJOY!!

This is my favorite place in plano, always amazing sushi and great selection if your not wanting sushi. This place you can never go wrong. Great service always and the plum wine is a must when I'm dining in!!

I’ve been living in Japan for the past seven years and I’m currently back home in the area on extended leave so I can receive treatment for a medical condition. As a result I’ve had to utilize several of the delivery services and switch up the restaurants I use to keep things interesting. Despite this, I keep finding myself coming back to ordering from Sushi Sakana. The quality of their food has always been superior, and the fresh flavors remind me greatly of what I have eaten at my home in Japan.

Great food and great service?

Highly highly recommend the pan grilled dumplings! We also had the Vegas roll, spicy California, shrimp tempura, & spicy shrimp roll. All delicious!!

I had a small discrepancy with my door dash order and the manager personally drove to my home to make it right. I am a huge fan of sushi and found this place several years back. I generally eat in or order from them a couple times a week. If your in the Plano area this is a must go for high quality sushi.

It was really awesome. Everything was fresh and mind refreshing. Calm place to eat for singles ?Highly recommend. They are best in service too!

Sushi Sakana is a great neighborhood sushi bar. It didn't take long for the staff to recognize us as regulars. Now when we go, we're often not at our table for more than a minute or two before a bottle of cold sake is brought out for me, and a glass of plum wine for my wife. Their rolls are phenomenal!!

For me, the best part about Sushi Sakana is its location. I love being able to get quality sushi at a good price without driving all the way to Dallas. And they do take-out so I've often gone in my pajamas to pick up some sushi?. They are rather laid back and it's a casual place so they don't seem to mind. For a neighborhood sushi place Sakana does OK.

Best place.Highly recommended!
