Fried rice was poorly made and tastes bland.The egg rolls are on the verge of disgusting. Somewhat soggy, not crispy enough.The lo mein is perfect. My girlfriend loved it. She also liked the "fried rice" but I don't know that it was made right. I asked for extra soy sauce on the side but I think maybe they ended up skipping cooking the rice with soy sauce entirely and thats why it tastes weird to me.Only the owner speaks english, not a bash but just letting other people know.
Been a while since I have been here. Missing the basil eggplant, a singular dish at that. I tried the garlic pork ribs but was disappointed. Meh taste and the pickled/fermented garlic chili topping did not mesh well with the ribs. The ribs should have been fried a little longer also. The hot oil wontons were good, swimming in a spicy oily tasty umami dressing.
My wife and I absolutely love the food here. We have been a fan for years now. The food taste amazing. We try to get something new every time we go here. This time was the beef rolls. They were good but not one of favorites. The spicy chicken is still the winner in our book. The hot and sour soup was excellent great for these cold days we have been having and you just can’t go wrong with the green beans. Got to have the veggies right? Don’t forget the portions are big and the white rice. The portions are more than average so we always leave with togo boxes. Give them a chance and I’m sure you’ll be full and happy afterwards. Oh and the stuff was great. Very attentive and had our glasses always full. Thanks for the read and good food at sichuan folk.
Service was pretty good. 1/3 dish, which happened to be the lunch special, was excellent.
Excellent dishes that tease your taste buds. Rich in variety and flavour. Dishes that can numb your lips and tongue with spicy peppers. Makes kissing a great experience after a meal. Try it out and one will not regret.
Best dumplings I ever had. They were fresh and the sauce was amazing. As well as the Dan Dan noodle. Good portion great price!! I only wish I received utensils or chopsticks with my order.
This came up as a restaurant near me when I did a search and I am so glad I read the reviews and went! Their service is unmatched and the food was absolutely delicious. Their portions are meant to serve a few people so I have dinner for myself and one more for tonight. Food came out quickly as well!
I tried it out for the first time today. Didn't even know it was there. Popped on Google as closest to my house as my usual place closed. I have so been missing out!!! Fast friendly service. Food obviously cooked fresh! Crisp veggies, soft meat, egg rolls were amazing!! I don't normally bother posting on Google. I'm in the restaurant biz and not a fan. But this place has amazing food!!!
Best sichuan restaurant ever! We ordered dan dan noodle, lamb with cumin, deep fried chicken with roasted chili, spicy fish with boiled oil, pork with bamboo shoots and dried bean curd. Every dish was wonderful, right spice level, not too salty, well selasoned with generous portions. Definitely a level up from Sichuan dishes I had at other places. Service was smooth and great. Highly recommend!
One of my top must-go places and the best Szechuan restaurant in town! They have various authentic dishes, and hot pot, dry pot, and cooked hot pot. Hot pot and cooked hot pot are my favourite. They have almost the same spiciness as what we have in China. And their cooked hot pot is a way faster and easier way for having a one-person hot pot (or if you don’t want to spend a lot time cooking and eating). Definitely worth trying and you won’t regret.
