Great service and late diner
Wanted crab for my birthday lunch. Wasn't disappointed in my choice of restaurant. Never thought I'd get to try Bairdi Crab ? but they had them.Fine service and food.Also pictured: crawfish boil and salmon ?
Excellent dining experience and Dasha was our server and she was phenomenal. It was my daughter and I first time eating seafood boil in Texas and we were not disappointed! Food was pricey but it was worth it. Lots of food and great drinks. We will be back.
The restaurant was hopping on our first visit to Shell Shack. My husband and I shared a bowl of the chicken and sausage gumbo, which was really good. After, I had grilled shrimp and hush puppies. The grilled shrimp doesn't come with any sides, so those must be ordered ala carte. The hush puppies were good, but the grilled shrimp was a huge disappointment. They were grilled with the shells on, which made the shells difficult to remove. The shrimp were large, but VERY tough. My husband ordered The Boss, which is fried catfish, shrimp, hush puppies, and fries. The catfish wasn't that good, had the real fishy dirt taste that catfish sometimes has. The shrimp were large, fried with a flour batter, no cornmeal, and once again, very tough.Although our meal was disappointing, we had THE BEST SERVER, Joshua, which is the only reason for the 4 stars. He was personable, charming, and attentive. We never had to ask for drink refills or anything, as he was on the ball!I don't see us ever returning to Shell Shack since there are much better seafood restaurants around, but it was nice to try out a new place.
Service is always fantastic here. We celebrated a birthday lunch here and it was like no other restaurant celebration we've experienced. One of their staff members ***SANG*** a birthday song and got the whole restaurant involved. It was incredible. Tristan was our server and he stayed on top of all our needs. Our drinks stayed full. It was a great experience. I wish I could give them more than 5 stars.
This was our first time here and I have to say our waiter Levi was awesome, he was very polite, courteous and very professional. The food was amazing, the mango margarita was exceptional. I'm not one to drink Bloody Mary's, but this one is the best I've ever tasted (sorry no photo). We will be back, thank you for a great experience.
I have only dined in once. After then, I have always ordered online. The Date Night seafood platter is very tasty and delicious. It is a combination of Crab, Shrimps, Sausage, Corn and Potatoes. However, what I don’t like is the fries, not a fan of it.
I had The VIP with lemon pepper seasoning. It was well seasoned! You'll get gloves so you can enjoy the food without the mess.
Foods awesome and service is even more awesome.
