Great place for all of those spices and ingredients you can't find anywhere else PLUS they bake there daily ?! Super nice place and the people inside were great too. This is the place
The owner is very involved. Good food. Grocery store in back. Not crowded on Friday at lunch time. I enjoyed the Shirazi Salad with my beef kebob sandwich. I will be back.
If you like Persian cuisine, you definitely want to be there on Saturdays. A buffet that is best to describe without the word "buffet", since every dish is freshly made and are constantly replenished on that table which will include several of the most popular items such as the Kabob kubideh, Fish, Gheymeh, Ghormeh-Sabzee, chicken-kabob,and of course a few different Basmati-Rice made Sabzee-Polo, Zeresh-Polo with the ever popular crunchy rice called "Tah-deeg" of each one. I advise you don't eat breakfast SAT morning so you will be so hungry by 11am when the buffet opens and hope you will have save a little room for deserts which most definitely will include Baghlava.A hot cup of tea and an afternoon nap is highly recommended when you get back home. Enjoy every bite.محمود کاظمی
The food was very bad and we order 45min once bring rice than wait for 10min more get to bread it’s happened every other order so khabab was not grilled good!
This place is a nightmare. I wanted to walk out after we first walked in and had to track someone down to help us. My wife loves Mediterranean food so we stayed to give it a shot. The man we tracked down gave us menus and then proceeded to tell us they could not do the kids meals or sandwiches. We all settled for the recommended chicken and rice dish, literally just a piece of chicken and rice. I am pretty sure it is the only thing they actually serve. The prices on the menu are not correct and prices are actually 40% higher than the menus stated prices. This is not communicated in advance!! This is my first review in a long time maybe ever. We paid $67.00 for three pieces of chicken and rice. I hope I can save you the time and expense of this chicken and rice restaurant. If so then my terrible experience will have meant something.
Everybody should try this place its so amazing. The market side of the store has the best groceries. Check it out and you will not be disappointed. I recommend to all.
When we entered the place it was obvious no buffet. The man sat at the bar and didn't even look up to seat us. There were only two other people and that was it. Horrible smell too.
Restaurant is not working rn but back in the days, it was an okay restaurant, the food variety was good, peobably I would rate it low a little on quality and service. The grocery market, which is at the back of the restaurant, is fine; it has anything you could ask for a small store.
Food was bad and price was 45% higher than menu saying price changes everyday. No wonder why their restaurant has no one there to eat.
We ate there the year before the pandemic. It was delicious and so elegant settings. We ordered the buffet. It was great. We also ordered the appetizer plate with several starters. My daughter loved the eggplant dip. She even liked it more than babaganoush from my husbands Lebanese quisine. The table settings were so elegant. It’s nice from the fast food we usually get from restaurants now a days. Would have liked to have taken more time shopping in the grocery store. Can’t wait to stop in and have tea. The deserts and ice cream was delicious.
