First, I want to make sure this is a review for the proper location. We are trying to place a review for the location on Central Expressway near Spring Valley In Dallas. We love, love the food!!!We were there in June 2022. The wait staff was absolutely embarrassing. Not our waiter. He was awesome. But, the rest of the people walking around waiting on other tables were not up to public standards. There was even a physical fight between the wait staff one foot from our table.No one that I know will ever go back to this location again. What a pity for a place with such nice food. Even the chicken and fish is good.
We had our 56 wedding anniversary at Saltgrass on central Expressway. I had a miserable cut of ribeye. Low quality beef. 6 oz of fat, grizzle and connective tissue and 6 oz of over salted beef and a glass of lemonade pretending to be a margarita. The following is a photo of the inedible meat.
Pretty good. Not as good as Longhorn across the street. Chamberlains is much better.
My steak was a miserable piece of meat. 6 oz of fat, grizzle and connective tissue. Low quality beef over salted. My wife’s chicken was over salted also. We had a salty taste in our mouths all the way home. I don’t mind paying for quality but this food is not healthy for canines. All these positive reviews are fake.
The server was great! He was friendly and happy to talk with you about the menu, drinks, and anything else on your mind. The bread & food was excellent and delivered to the table as ordered. The ice tea refills are done nicely with another full glass plus a full carafe to keep you well stocked.The manager stopped by to check if we needed anything else or had questions/feedback.
Great service, great food and a delightful environment. Rico, our waiter, was a champion. Always on top of things. ???
We were there recently during the week. I will say I want to give you less stars due to getting rid of my favorite PRIME RIB! ... BUT our waiter, RICO was about the best waiter we have ever have!!!! Attentive, helpful, polite, and not slow at all... he was even fun!!! Can we get the PRIME Rib back?!? And then I will make our reservations for which ever day Rico is working!!!
Visiting from California and excited about eating at a Texas steak house. Disappointed. Steakhouses near me are much better. So far not seeing any pros to Texas vs California other than gas prices.
I was impressed with the perfection of the sirloin I got. Haven’t had sirloin in years that was cooked just right. Hot, tender, tasty.
Excellent food! The ribs were delicious, huge portion... The restaurant has a cute Texas ambience with clean restrooms. Our server C. J. was absolutely topnotch! Five stars! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
