Everyone and their Father's were here celebrating all the amazing Dad's this wknd.? ❤️ We managed to find stools at the bar while waiting for a table 45mins. Maddie suggested the grilled pineapple margarita ? ? Yes! Rang up a nice tab b4 moving to dining rm. Din was great as it was all about hubby and he indulged the large porterhouse. I tried brisket ?, and had Nashville chicken sandwich, all delightful. The strawberry ? cheesecake was jus ok. This was our first Dallas visit to this chain since moving to TX. Previously we also enjoyed the Austin and San Antonio locations as well. My only complaint is we weren't offered any of the complimentary bread and butter. I didn't notice til half way thru din. Maybe since we relocated from bar they brought over apps we had jus placed wen table was ready. All in all very good food and superb customer service. Well done!

Everything about our experience was great! The hostess welcomed us in and sat us quickly. The food was amazing! ? Michael was our server and he was so attentive and great! Phillip the manager was visible, kind, and ensured everything was amazing! The cooks in the back were on point as my steak was phenomenal! ?? Overall 11/10 will go again! ❤️

Good place to be,I don’t mind going there every day ?I love it

When you want to go to a great steak house, Saltgrass Steak House never disappoints. The top Sirloins they select are always top notch cuts of meat, they are juicy, thick cuts, are season and cooked to perfection. I have eaten at many steak houses, I'd place Saltgrass either 1st or 2nd in my list because of how well they cook it. Whatever they do to the outside of the steak makes it taste so good. Not to forget the Smoked Mac and Cheese, this is a must when you go. Always been able to make reservations, sittings is great and the atmosphere is lovely.

The food here was great. When you order a rare steak, you get a rare steak. The beer selection was a little small but over all, they had a good adult beverage menu. The service was really good and attentive. We enjoyed it.

Having dined at many Landry's owned and operated restaurants across the state, with this location generally having a very good track record I was looking forward to a dinner with my mother at Saltgrass. Upon entering we were stated and didn't get the warm welcome I'm used to with most Landry's restaurants, it almost felt like it was just not their night. Our waiter was with us very fast, and he provided decent service, but there was definitely room for improvement. I ordered a fillet mignon and for sides asked for double fries rather than some of the other sides offered, and my mom ordered a steak salad. We happen to be Landry's select members and our waiter took our card and it took him a while to bring it back and we got little to no feedback on why it took a while and if the card worked. The member of staff who brought our food wasn't our waiter, but he brought my steak not even acknowledging what I ordered and simply calling it a steak, and the kitchen brought out my side of fries on a separate plate and gave them to my mom. Before either of us could ask about the salad he simply said "Enjoy your meal" and walked back off, and we had to ask our waiter to find and bring the salad. My mom said her salad was dry and needed dressing, the manager had told us it was supposed to include dressing, but they had likely forgotten, which was a very uncommon occurrence, she also apologized for the inconvenience, and our waiter came back with the dressing also apologizing. Both of our meals were good as always, and there was nothing wrong in that category. We decided to skip dessert and just go home after an already less than good experience. All in all, this visit was pretty poor and unimpressive, and was a huge letdown. Given the experience it certainly would put me off from a return visit for a while, but I would not go out of my way to avoid this place either. I would hope this is a one off, but as it stands, I can't recommend this place, and if you want steak looking elsewhere isn't a bad idea.

Very good as always, the service here was really fast and our steaks were cooked just as ordered. Priced right for the amount of food you received.

Had dinner on a Thursday and it was super busy, elected to sit at the bar based on the friendly service when we ordered a drink while waiting. Very glad we did! The whole restaurant was busy and the bar was clearly overwhelmed - there were two bar backs(Kenny and Frannie- they both introduced themselves by name) that kept a smile on despite the rush, appreciate people that can handle the adversity and still provide a great experience - we will be back!

It’s a higher end version of Texas Roadhouse but relaxed and quieter too and better wine selection. I was nervous after reading recent reviews but the chef killed it tonight because everything was cooked perfectly! Only thing, I wished I had known the kids mac was Kraft.. they ate mine though which was very good! Get your kids an adult mac n cheese! Our waitress was very attentive and professional and our 4 kids adore her! Hubs really enjoyed his perfectly cooked medium New York Strip with smothered onions. I enjoyed the ribs and fried shrimp.. although the shrimp had like a jalapeño Texas kick to em! Delicious, but heartburn. All the staff was friendly and helpful with all our needs! Bathrooms were super clean!

Return visit after too long absence (last here in 2017) for a birthday celebration supper. They did not disappoint. Prompt seating and service. Great looking decor for steak place. Go for the steaks. Lots of other things on menu but its a steak place.
