Great wings hands down. A must!!!
First of all they were rude. No one was at the register and they were just standing there talking. I walked up and waited for them to finish. After finally acknowledging me she acted like I was bothering her. She wouldn’t even verbally say anything she was just nodding her head and telling me I need to go to the other end. I almost left cause she was so rude but I drove all the way there to support a black business so I went ahead and still ordered, and the food wasn’t even good. The flavor and skin was, but the meat was fatty and greasy. I ended up throwing it in the trash only eating the bread and condiments.
I was really excited to try but i was disappointed. The food was okay nothing spectacular at all. No different taste from any other Popeyes, chicken place etc but more pricey. The sandwich was not worth $9.00 AT ALL..The banana pudding was okay but nothing spectacular, taste just like any other fast food banana pudding. The woman that made my food never changed her gloves. She open a cooler to grab a bottle soda, pop the top , grab the fries, made my sandwich adding my toppings and NEVER CHANGED nor WASHED her hands and was making food - i can tell she was in training as the other woman who was handling the cash register, taking orders was showing and telling her how to do things but NOT once sanitary was mentioned nor an option. With everything going on i couldn't believe it. I took some bites of my sandwich and fries and couldn't stomach the image in my head, so i trashed my food. Bad experience. The cook was trimming some chicken ( enlarge the first picture ) and nevered changed his gloves nor washed were the chicken was sitting...I had high expectations as I was finally able to support but nothing was spectacular about the food, experience etc. Presentation was okay but not worth being/getting sick..One thing for sure no one going to take care of your business like it should be taking care of and ran.
Yessss Sirrrrr!!!! This here is IT!!!!! Fresh, seasoned, fried to perfection!!! Staff was prompt & nice!!! This will be a once a month lunch field trip for me..
I’ve had this place once and since then I crave their amazing sweet tea with mint and orange. However, the last several times I’ve tried to visit around 7pm they rudely turn away customers when Legacy Hall is still open. I’ve had this happen to me three times already and for that reason I won’t go back out of concern that I’ll be turned away again. So unfortunate! Google shows you stay open until 9pm so please document your hours more clearly if that’s not the case.
Who doesn’t like chicken wings??? I love their special duck fat chicken wings!! Combined with their special sauce which is awesome. The favors are super good and tasty!!
Overall the food was okay at best, definitely not as good as the hype makes it out to be. Maybe an off day or something else...? I don't know, but I ordered over $100 of food for me and my family and honestly, it was a waste of money. The food was fried well, absolutely no complaints about that, but there was no hint of seasoning on our chicken tenders or chicken wings. I was at least hoping the sauce would save the day, but alas, to no avail. No biggy, can't win 'em all, and definitely struck out on this one.
Chicken sandwich was fantastic - so much flavour and the crunch of the batter was delightful. The fries are some of the best I've had. The tenders however were small, bland, greasy things although the sauces provided did much to make them palatable. Service felt unfriendly and ponderous however. Probably still worth coming out for that sandwich though.
This was a huge letdown. I had high expectations based on the reviews. Paid way too much for a 12 piece box. This was by far the worst fried chicken wings I’ve ever had- no lie! It was full of batter, greasy, soggy, overcooked, flavorless, and dry. Not only that, but after eating a couple of pieces we started feeling sick so we dumped it in the trash. I really wanted to love this based on the reviews, but this chicken does not live the hype unfortunately.
This sandwich is absolutely amazing! The chicken is crunchy and juicy, the sauce is delicious, and even after getting it for take-out it tasted delicious. Also, I would HIGHLY recommend getting the duck fat fries.
